  1. I had a tough time watching on line but it looked like a good start forJP and the LV O-line looked quite good.
  2. I would expect Levy to say something like this publically. He hired the guy and won't throw him under the bus. The results speak for themselves. No opinion matters.
  3. We can only hope that train arrives soon and at a high rate of speed.
  4. Yeah, $3 million for the head coach and over $100 million for these Bills players. How did this happen?
  5. That is some funny shyt.
  6. OK, but Dick was at 4% before this board crusade began. Given the results of the team, I'd say the poll reflects what the fans see. My guess is that he has about 4% of the players' support. That would be 2 players. I'll go with 2 rookies.
  7. I don't know. It's only 1/787th of the stimulus package. I'll bet the Chinese would take the Bills and reduce our debt to them by $1 Billion. Obama's crew could probably negotiate a $700 million tax free deal with Ralph and the US Government could pick up an easy $300 million on the deal and require the Chinese to keep the Bills in Buffalo. The new owners would likely hire a new GM and coach, so keeping everyone happy is not that tough.
  8. Compares favorably to Hank Bullough (I think). DJ actually reminds me a lot of Kay Stephenson.
  9. His coaching style compares favorably to most of the policies of the current Whitehouse.
  10. Yes and by a wide margin.
  11. We don't know that. While coaches contracts seem to be mostly guaranteed, it wouldn't surprise me if Jauron's deal might include reduced compensation if he is fired. That would be smart on the part of an owner.
  12. Yes. His hand will be forced (by money) if the Bills go 4-12 and fan support tanks. He knows that the box office next year will be lousy if he doesn't right the ship. This year's revenue is in the bag for the most part. We get to see Jauron for the rest of the season or the vast majority of it.
  13. "No coach, I don't want to play cornerback."
  14. It's hard to pump fake in the NFL.
  15. Yes, there is a way and trusts are part of the answer, but it is not simple. At Ralph's level, I would expect his advisors to know which scenarios will protect him and his family from taxation. Bottom line is Ralph won't sell because he doesn't want to give up control of the team.
  16. He'd come across more credible if he actually discussed how the team stinks and expressed a determination to make changes and/or corections instead of covering for players and coaches that are underperforming.
  17. Well, that just isn't true. I've posted the detail before and won't get into the nitty gritty now, but cap gains taxes are quite low now and the political climate is ripe for big increases in those and the death tax rate. Selling now could be very financially advantageous for Ralph. There are also trusts that can or may already be established that could shield him from tax.
  18. No team is better than this current team.
  19. And don't forget that DJ picked his assistant coaches and the schemes tha are used.
  20. Some old guys that supported Hubert Humphrey in the '68 election.
  21. The petition should not stop at just asking for his removal. It should include a statement about the type of coach and other changes to be made.
  22. I think Dick is more like a staff accountant. Adds the numbers and reports them and has no impact on the business.
  23. Actually, Sully is too polite in the article.
  24. Brandon as GM, rookie AVP as OC, rookie Fewell as DC, still looks like a rookie to me Jauron, when it comes to winning, he's a rookie Personnel people, same shyt different day, still getting rookie results Bunch of starting players, rookies or still trying t figure out how to win This team completely lacks people in all positions that know what it takes to win.
  25. Peter Principle. Brandon, good marketing guy is looking crappy in GM responsibilities.
