  1. Yes, but the indictment cites specific methods of access, dates, spoof email addresses, etc... That alone is not enough evidence to convict but it does show how the thefts of info happened so they must have underlying evidence to tie it up. You wouldn't need the server to investigate this as the host would likely have all the needed info and experts can dig past the attempts to mask it. In the current environment though it's hard to have unwavering confidence in anything the IC is producing on this matter. Putin in his interview with Wallace had pretty weak explanations when asked about his country's involvement, but you can't expect the likes of him or Trump to fully understand the nitty gritty of the evidence. Putin said little to knock out the legs of support for the allegations.
  2. The means of the hacking is described in some level of detail beginning paragraph 21. The underlying evidence not there but as you read through the indictment it's pretty specific what was done and by whom and it includes theft of DNC documents. Of course it's unlikely this will ever have to be proved since the chances of getting the defendants to trial are basically zero. You'd like to believe that what's in the indictment is not a fabrication. Still Trump could have handled the matter better publicly than he did today. He went out of his way to capitulate to Putin on this. https://www.vox.com/2018/7/13/17568806/mueller-russia-intelligence-indictment-full-text
  3. The CNN hit job on Trump keeps rolling along, today on the Helsinki meeting. https://www.cnn.com/videos/tv/2018/07/15/stelter-trump-cannot-be-trusted-rs.cnn
  4. Could be that the owner of the Jewelry (apparently some of it was on loan) made the repo attempt. Maybe Shady couldn't return it, refused to buy it and told the jeweler to go get it if they want it back.
  5. Here's a beauty from Susan Rice, a beacon of credibility on all things security and diplomacy. She's got some set of balls to publish this. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/07/12/opinion/trump-putin-summit-susan-rice.html
  6. I would say that Trump lacks the skills to publicly articulate the specifics of issues, goals, etc...Not a strength of his. However His business which has been built over decades and the nature of which can be risky while navigating through some tough economic times (in real estate) is strong evidence that he does understand complex projects. If it were so easy to do many more would do it. He deserves a lot of credit for his success and for employing capable people who help manage a difficult business. Anyone that is paying attention knows that tariffs are not the end game, freer trade is. He's stated this many times in recent months, been very open about it. Tariffs are simply the instrument of short term negotiating pressure with the goal being better long term trade relationships. Even the Republican pols who are squawking about this are being short sighted. If it backfires, then Trump can be criticized.
  7. Yes and if there is video of him trying on the gloves, watch how OJ positions his hand and fingers. He does so in a way that makes it very hard to get the glove on. Well rehearsed IMO.
  8. This gets funnier by the month. The cast of characters, the facial expressions and the unconditional proclamations.
  9. That is so John Kerry. There has never been anyone who enjoys hearing himself speak more than that guy.
  10. For every legal maneuver there is an equal and opposite legal maneuver. In this day and age, court orders, supoena's and judgements often don't have a lot of teeth. Expect this investigation and any prosecutions that might ensue to go on literally for years. Lawyers love a slow moving process that generates a lot of fees, especially if it benefits their client.
  11. Somebody involved in this is telling one heckuva lie.
  12. McCain made positive remarks about the pick last night. Maybe he'll be well enough and motivated enough to try and get to Washington and vote.
  13. I can't believe she wasn't smoked in her last primary. Don't know if she was even challenged.
  14. Elizabeth Warren on MSNBC just stated that the Supreme Court may have to create a new law regarding children being separated at the border. The Supreme court, make a law and this is a US Senator and former law professor.
  15. How about the state of Illinois insolvency? Check out state worker pension costs. http://www.wirepoints.com/janus-v-afscme-and-the-truth-about-illinois-pensions-in-one-graphic-wirepoints-original/
  16. Tyrod has yet to play a down against an actual defense as a Cleveland Brown. Time.Will.Tell.
  17. At least half. Probably more like two-thirds as so many don't consume any news from any sources.
  18. Good chance he added muscle once he was done long jumping. Track and field athletes don't train with the same goals as football players.
  19. Been interested in politics my entire adult life but began to tune in much more closely during the Bush 43 years. The closer you look, the uglier it is.
  20. 5 years!?! Can I get some action on the under? Actually you might be right. She's too damn stubborn to die.
  21. Exactly. It's really amusing to hear life-long pols talk down to a President who has a much broader set of experiences and successes than do they. Chucky doesn't realize that in the ladder of American life, he's scum, a bottom feeder and one that is looked down upon by most "regular people".
