  1. Although not off the beaten path by any means since it's located on Transit but a restaurant that I think is awesome in WNY that I NEVER hear anybody else ever talk about is Chester's...a Cajun/New Orleans style restaurant which holds a unique place in the WNY restaurant scene.
  2. Yes Heading downtown shortly to soak in the experience Never been a huge UFC fan but It's another great thing for the city to get the opportunity to host one and I'm looking forward to a different sporting experience than what I'm normally accustomed to. I'm hearing rumors that alot of former and current Bills players will be attending tonight so that will be pretty cool
  3. No problem, glad you liked it, I really enjoyed reading it as well.
  4. In honor of WrestleMania day I wanted to share this retrospective look back at WM 3 I came across the other day, this was a very well done look back at the one that put professional wrestling on the map. If you are a fan of nostalgia and grew up watching WWF then you should enjoy this http://www.detroitnews.com/story/entertainment/2017/03/29/wrestlemania-iii-oral-history-30-years/99729286/?curator=SportsREDEF
  5. DDP's speech was excellent, it was a little long but he kept it interesting. Also absolutely mind-blowing he didn't start training for professional wresting until the age of 35
  6. He's from Orchard Park I believe?
  7. Jimbo was such a Jock back in his day, that's what this team has been lacking under center these last 17 years a true alpha male
  8. The man kept his promise all those years, doing everything he could to keep the Bills in Buffalo. For that I will be forever grateful RIP Ralph, I miss ya
  9. Read that in the newspaper yeterday, had no idea it was written by one of our own! Great job
  10. Watching Two and a Half Men reruns. The show is so cheesey yet it has its hilarious moments at the same time. I dunno that's a show that I normally wouldn't admit to being a big fan of in my real life circle of friends and acquantices This message board Rewatching old sports highlights/games on youtube from years ago
  11. Ugh this is even harder than the tv show thread Goodfellas Forrest Gump Dazed and Confused Die Hard Almost Famous but there's alot of other ways I could go with this list as well
  12. Married With Children The Wonder Years Seinfeld The Simpsons(prime years) South Park Honorable Mention: Freaks and Geeks(excellent show just didn't have the longevity to be on the all time top 5 list)
  13. It's Hard to Win in The NFL is the only concept the Bills have mastered over the last 17 years
  14. Some good replies so far fellas keep em coming Another one that just popped into my head that hasn't been mentioned yet was the Hulk Hogan Ultimate Warrior showdown at WM6...at the time it was unheard of for two "good guys" to square off
  15. I see we have some Wrestling Fans on here and I know right now It's Wrestlemania season. I don't really watch anymore but I did just see the Scott Hall documentary and like to reminisce about the glory days of watching it growing up so figured this could be a fun topic: 1) Wrestlemania 7 -My personal favorite was when Miss Elizabeth came to the rescue when Macho King Randy Savage was getting attacked by Queen Sherri. This was at a time when WWF was larger than life to me and the it just seemed so emotional 2) WrestleMania 13 -Brett Hart v.s. Steve Austin in the classic double turn face/heel turn. The psychology from both guys in the lead up to this match was fantastic and the ending where Stone Cold Steve never says I quit but passes out in the sharpshooter with his head busted open is one of the best finishes in Wrestling history IMO. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUgIQmpdcAo 3) WrestleMania 12 -60 minute iron man match between Brett Hart and Shawn Michaels for the championship. Both guys bring their A game in the instant classic Most Underrated WM match Brett Hart v.s. Rowdy Roddy Piper Intercontinental Championship Match at WM 8 http://www.wrestlingforum.com/columns/2129457-bret-hart-vs-roddy-piper-intercontinental-championship-wrestlemania-8-a.html If you are an old school Wrestling fan follow that link for an excellent in depth recap of the brilliance of that match and its lead up You will never see professional Wrestling as good as this ever again sadly
  16. Yes they are called Buffalo Sports Fans
  17. Awesome costumes man!
  18. Saving Private Ryan Braveheart
  19. I think the Sabres are still a couple years away from being where I think most people think they will be even just next season. The Bills are going through a mini-rebuild process right now themselves so I think it could go either way but my prediction is we won't get our answer to this question for 2-3 years possibly
  20. Should be good. Those were wild times behind the scenes in the wrasslin business. I saw Jake The Snake's Unspoken Word show when he came to Buffalo a couple summers ago and there were lots of great stories and some involving Andre
  21. Not gonna lie when you first started talking about a cool Valentine' Day Story I thought It was gonna be lame but that actually was a pretty cool story I enjoyed reading so kudos to you Sir. Now get out there and pay it forward, Super Mighty's and 3-Cheese Burritos for all the young lovebirds out there tonight
  22. So when the Bills were a dominant team back in the late 80s, early 90s fans weren't out in the parking lots partying? (I agree that nowadays that some of the younger kids are beyond obnoxious at an all time high new level but I think that's more of a generational thing and I don't think a winning team stops the hardcore tailgating, I think It might actually make it worse)
  23. That's great and all but more importantly I hope they start spending $$$ on making improvements within the front office
