  1. I love Buffalo and the Bills as much as anyone, but seriously people really don't understand why the Bills are such an undesired market???
  2. I know this feeling too...both from a Bills fan perspective and a relationships perspective.
  3. I have alot of favorite movies but I don't think there has ever been a cooler movie than Dazed and Confused. It's such an amazing movie but still in a cult-like way and there always seems to be a special bond with other big fans. I remember watching that movie all the time with my buddies in college and always going back and forth at each other with quotes.
  4. Friday Night Lights was awesome, even though my experiences were very different it hit home with me and reminded me of my high school football days.
  5. I remember when I was a middle-schooler my high school was dominant and making trips to Rich Stadium on the regular and playing little league football me and my buddies thought that someday we would be playing at Rich, but I'm not gonna lie as it turned out once we got to the high school level our school's program had really gone downhill. The good coaches had retired after their championship runs, and I'll be honest we just didn't have the same talent level either. I have still have good memories from playing high school football though, and good memories of looking up to those great high school teams we had when I was just a young, life unexperienced 6th grader haha.
  6. Its kinda depressing to know that alot of my "heroes" from back in those days would later end up living their lives like Mickey Rourke in the Wrestler.
  7. Invincible was my favorite sports flick, with the Cinderella Man a close second
  8. This thread brings back some great memories
  9. Comedy- Waiting Romantic Comedy- Failure to Launch Action-The Departed Documentary-Tyson Drama-Gone Baby Gone Overall- its a tossup for me hard to pick just one
  10. This is a great thread, I too remember those greatly entertaining wrasslin days, my all-time favorite era was the early 90's of WWF and the later 90's was good as well. Its a shame for young kids growing up today that are missing out
  11. Believe me he was never on the Bills radar, but maybe on a few delusional messageboard fan's radars
  12. By far, the best "guy" shows out there right now are Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League
  13. Yes, but the question is will Wilt Chamberlin's record be safe?
  14. Say what you want about the guy, but in todays day and age its nice to see someone thats still in it for the love and enjoyment of the game. He's 40 years old but still plays with kidlike enthusiasm.
  15. I still gotta go with LT on Theisman as the worst I've ever seen, hurts just thinking about it
  16. Phillip Rivers, a few weeks back on Football Night in America they even made that comparison between the two
  17. It looks like Im jumping into this topic a little late, but as someone who saw it from a mutual standpoint(I worked as a busboy when I was in high school at a restaurant) there was definitely friction between the cooks and servers. I later worked at a couple car dealerships part-time when I was going through college as a detailer and it was the exact same thing there between car salesmen and detailers/mechanics. There was alot of contempt for the salesmen as they did absolutely nothing but bull **** customers into buying the cars while we did all of the actual work on the cars. The salesmen did more bitching and moaning than anyone else there and if they wern't dealing with a customer you could find them flicking rubber bands around or hitting on the 18year old receptionists while we were cleaning the floors for barely over minimum wage. It was funny to as a young adult seeing first hand the difference between guys who made their living by doing blue-collar laboring work in the mechanics and on the other hand all those lazy salesmen who hated to get their hands dirty and just the complete difference in the personalities and lifestyles they had.
  18. As painful as it is to realize, Im thinking at best 3 years and thats definitely no guarantee itself
  19. When talking about attendance levels another thing to keep in mind is that I'm sure there were large amounts of college/college aged kids that went out and got bombed halloween night and were too hungover to make it to the game sunday. I talked to a couple people that said Chippewa Street was completely packed with people up and down the whole street saturday night.
