  1. A lot of words to end with "SOURCE: I pulled this all out of me arse." What poor play did he make in the 13 seconds game? Did he tell them to pick "heads" on the coin toss in OT? A lot of you folks really need to let go of this belief that Mahomes is otherwordly and some sort of Mental God over Josh. The only difference in terms of talent and skillset is that one has the greatest offensive coach of our generation calling his plays and his players always make plays for him, they don't drop sure touchdowns in the playoffs, shank kicks to the left, or inexplicably let a team march into field goal position after not squibing a kick in under 10 seconds.
  2. I hated the Pats during their run, but it was more out of pure jealousy because of how shoddy and poorly run the Bills were in comparison. The entirety of the AFC East was a joke and essentially, every season started with a bye for the Pats. With the Chiefs, I hate how they are the ONE team standing between us and the Super Bowl. We FINALLY have a great team again but we're just not great enough...it's infuriating
  3. False. The Chiefs make mistakes, it's just that teams don't make them pay for them AND they're resilient enough to overcome them. Case in point, right at the start of the second half, Mahomes throws a terrible pick on their side of the 50. The Chiefs D stands stout while the Niners do nothing and then just punt the ball back. Another 3 and out gives the Niners great field position, and they do nothing again. Next possession, the Chiefs score and they keep scoring.
  4. That's one thing that really worries me about the current Bills...have they accepted that losing to the Chiefs are an inevitability now? Seems like they "we just can't get it done" narrrative is going to stick to them. Compare that to the Bengals. They are brash and fear no one. They don't have the same talent as the Bills and Chiefs but they love punching teams in the mouth and laughing at them. And they don't give a rat's arse about "respecting what the other team has done".
  5. This reminds me of being a Winnipeg Jets fan in the 80s. They were clearly one of the best teams in the NHL, lead by a generational talent in Dale Hawerchuk (y'all know Ducky)...it's just that they continually got bounced in the first and second round of the playoffs by this stupid team from Edmonton who happened to have some dweeb on it named Gretzky. The 80s Oilers are considered one of the greatest teams/dynasties of all time. Those 80s Jets? Just a footnote. I really, really hope that Josh Allen's Bills don't end up as a footnote
  6. Mahomes could get hurt on the first play of the season and be out for the year…and the Bills will still somehow find a way to boof it.
  7. Not to mention the worst collection of receivers Mahomes has ever had. Now they’ll find a way to get even better on the offensive side of the football…lucky us.
  8. It’s just infuriating knowing that it’s just this one bleepin’ team that is stopping the Bills from winning multiple Super Bowls. Every year we lose to them, we’re clearly the 2nd best team in the league.
  9. I think this is what bothers me the most about any Mahomes discourse. The revisionist history that the Bills goofed by not taking him and trading the pick. Those of us around this board would all agree that maybe a handful of people liked Mahomes as the Bills pick in that spot. Majority of us didn't think at all that he was on the Bills radar. Also, does it really matter since they drafted Allen anyways? We're not 2 time Super Bowl champions because Mahomes has been light years better than Allen, they have the rings because Reid is light years ahead of McDermott.
  10. They knew he had a significant injury to his throwing arm and instead of shutting him down, let him gut it out leading to him having a very sub-par season. Knowing that, they let him take all the blame for the team's performance and rarely stood up for the guy. And to thank him for putting the team ahead of his own health, they dumped him unceremoniously for the Gummybear Bandit - Portrait of a @SS Grabber and made Mr. Massage the highest paid QB in the league. Prior to that, he had a different OC every season and had no consistency on the coaching side of things.
  11. Don't you see?!? The Lizard People are currently convincing Elon Musk to use his earnings from the sales of Teslas to purchase the NFL (rename it the "XFL") and remove all physicality from the game!
  12. Wonder if Tom is thinking "I really need to get Josh even better so he can be the one to end Mahomes charge on my records".
  13. I'll say this...all of you wanting to say "well, Pat Jr. is different, he seems more level-headed than the rest of his lunatic family", really haven't been paying attention to his "mask-off" behaviour this season. Look back at how Mahomes has handled adversity this season... - Showing up his receivers. Sure they dropped passes and may have ran wrong routes, but he would make sure everyone KNEW it was their fault not his. - His petulant whining at the end of the Bills game during the regular season. Compare that to Josh and how he humbly accepts blame for losses and was there waiting on Bass to talk to him after the div loss. Pat Jr. is a product of the garbage tree that grew him.
  14. Was it his in-game decision for Reynolds to not only drop the 4th and 2 ball but also the 3rd and 8 ball that both landed right in his hands? Was it his in-game decision for Jamyrr to fumble the ball? He coached a great game and never deviated from how he played 4th down all season. His players let him and Goff down immensely.
  15. Hard to say, the Chiefs have all the making of a dynasty and he might want to stick around to see if there are a few more shots at a few more rings. But if he marries Taylor, then all bets are off.
  16. It’ll be more interesting to see how they do without Ben Johnson. You know he’s gone.
  17. LOL at all the Twitter heads who genuinely believed Brock Purdy was better than Josh Allen…
  18. This is what people don't understand. Even if Thad doesn't get the job, he has an opportunity to make an impression. And if it's a really good one, the NFL networking could help him down the road. "Hey you interviewed Thad, what did you think?" "Man, he blew us away, we just wanted to keep consistent with our offense and stuck with Joe". "Cool, we're thinking of hiring him, thanks for the feedback".
  19. That BS "holding" call on 3rd down really could have ended the game for us. I was livid over that call. Thought it was over at that point.
