The ONLY chance IMO that Pegula even entertains firing him is if a HEALTHY Bills squad misses the playoffs. Anything else and he’ll keep him. Pegula too afraid to rock the boat.

You have to against a secondary as good as Tennessee’s. His receivers can’t catch worth anything.

I legit think because Pegula has struggled finding a good coach for the Sabres, he’s worried that if he lets McDermott go, he’ll struggle to replace him.

Downside is our stinky defense just got a 5 minute break and have to go out there again.

I think what frustrates me about Brady’s playcalling is how there is no scheming for easy short yards to get the first down. Like every team in the league has plays to pick 2-3 yards and we don’t.

Ok, this is not me diminishing the role of a FG kicker, but…it’s kicking. I truly believe there are probably more people out there that can kick FGs than can play any other position in football. The thing is making that investment on a guy who has the mental strength to do so in the NFL. what I find odd is that the NFL in general never goes outside the bounds of NCAA college football to find that kicker. Like why aren’t teams looking at guys with booming legs in the MLS or college ranks? Why aren’t we trying out the best kicker in the Canadian Football League (who clearly can kick in really crappy weather)? What about Aussie Rules Football or Rugby? Why do teams not run “kicking camps” to find gems? It’s such an important position.

Imagine Myles Garrett as a Bill….? like this trade. Didn’t complain once this season or last with DeShaun “throwing” him the ball. Won’t upset the locker room and be a distraction.

The worst part about that time consuming discussion is it had absolutely no impact on the play. Bass made the kick and the Bills declined it. Horrid officiating from a junior squad.
