  1. thats true, I enjoyed trying to pick out guys that you know are their with an "Escort" I did the drive one day from the Strip to the Grand Canyon in a Jeep liberty, stayed the night at the grand Canyon, then drove the next day to Flagstaff Arizona for a few days. It was nice being somewhere in November, wearing shorts and still feeling hot.........
  2. I agree with you on this, wasn't impressed. When you don't drink or gamble much, it just gets annoying when everytime you turn around you have someone trying to scam you into a time share or some other trip deal to see a "free show"Can't say while I was there that the woman were any more impressive then anywhere else I have been too. I enjoyed the the drive from Vegas to the Grand Canyon and Arizona alot more
  3. Why not just give the Ravens the opening MNF game at home instead and have the first Thursday game a different matchup like maybe Seattle vs San Fran?
  4. baby steps, baby steps. The need to learn how to just win games first, then you can worry about where/when they win them. Rolston does talk about breaking everything down in "minutes" out there. As for leino, he has looked pretty good, aside from whatever he was doing out there in the shootout
  5. So the guy will need to find about 10 more people with similar net worths willing to invest their entire net worth into an NFL team to buy them. The guy would barely have enough to be 50% owner in the Sabres if he invested his entire net worth......
  6. Grigs went down because his play wasn't up to the NHL game yet. The only thing the Sabres did was burn a year on his entry level deal, because he went down before 23 games it doesn't count as a year towards UFA status. I know it pissed off many fans that their new saviour was sent back down, or not given extra playing time so they could see what he can do, but the coaching staff were not as impressed with what he was doing out there to 'reward" him with more minutes (you would have to take minutes away from Ennis and Hodgson to give him more). Going back to Quebec he can log more minutes in a playoff situation and work on what they were teaching him up here. he can be called back up after the Remparts season is over, or he can be sent to Rochester after their playoffs are done.
  7. That would explain it then, because it really was what you would expect for a pilot of a TV show, and had very little to do with "The Office" (I don't even remember a subplot, the only thing "Office" related was teh start when Dwight goes around throwing dirt to let people know if they are invited to his Aunts funeral)
  8. Could he be refering to another Thigpen? Wait, this is a national media article talking about this, they probably know as much about the Bills organisation as a blind person knows about colours............
  9. maybe this was an attempt to get whatever viewers the show has left interested in a spinoff to get NBC back in?All I can think of after watching that last episode was that they were giving everyone the pilot/setup for the spinoff. I always regret wasting my time watching the office since Carrell left...........
  10. So you would rather the Bills spend a higher pick on someone with less of a body of work in the NFL?I would have no problem if the Bills could get him for a later pick (4th and up) and then go into the season with him and Tjax competing to start, then if it doesn't work out try for a rookie next year unless one falls deep this year (like say Nassib in the 3rd if Marrone really likes him)
  11. Thats not true, all they are saying was that Fitz would no longer have a chance to start, that doesn't mean that they would not bring in another veteran somehow to compete for the starting job if they had the opportunity and they were going with a rookie in the draft. It just means they have seen enough of Fitz as a starter and no longer wan him in that role
  12. That would explain Winfield, TKO, etc.But now we are onto wanting the front office to sign guys we just released. I hear Fitz is available, should we bring him in for a look to fill the hole at QB?
  13. your right, he should come in with an attitude that he sucks and everyone else is better then him. Thats a winning attitude! I want my QB to know he sucks and that he shouldn't be playing in the league!
  14. now we are looking for Nix and co. to sign guys that the Bills just cut? We are really getting desperate around here at TBD...........
  15. Did the Vikings sign him too cause it was Cassel who they signed earlier today. Has Kolb even officially been released yet? i would not bring in Tebow to try out as the starting QB. As a TE or at some other position where he can be given the ball and run sure with the slight chance he could throw sure. But he will not be the answer as the Bills starting QB
  16. Funny how it wasn't too long ago people were all for throwing picks at the Eagles to get this guy, now they barely want to bring him in for a look as a FA..... And yet there are still also some that would rather use picks to try and get Flynn from the Seahawks, and some had even suggested Foles from the Eagles.
  17. Steelers fans seem happy to let him go Too much time on IR, and when he was in, was called for holding alot... I don't know how comfortable I would be picking up a Steelers castoff for the Bills o-line, aren't they the ones usually picking up the Bills castoffs to play o-line for them?
  18. Since he is still on the Jets roster, he doesn't come cheap, they would have to trade for him if the Jets don't release him. Looks like Cassel is gone to Minny Kolb might become a Jet Campbell might be going to the Browns So that leaves trading for Flynn or Mallett I think they signed their FA QB already when tehy re-signed TJax
  19. I will take quality over quantity every time I must say i thought Miami had made alot more signings then what that chart shows though.........
  20. I remember from High school Gym class being told that the average person should be able to do about twice their body weight on the leg press IIRC. I remember doing between 400-450, and I was less then 200lbs at the time (not much though) 700 is still alot, but I don't think its overly impressive for someone who is supposed to be the size to play NT in the NFL. And as said previously, his issues had nothing to do with legs or leg strength, its his back thats been bad
  21. There were rumors yesterday of Tampa being one of the teams interested in him, wonder if he signs there if that could be what Tampa would be wiating for if they plan on trading Freeman? (If all the rumors are true) It could also be possible that the Bucs could get Cassel, then wait til the draft when the Bills pick, and if the QB that Schiano likes (think the rumors were Barkley) is there, they pull a deal to swap 1sts with Buffalo for Freeman
  22. To be fair, Welker was the cheaper option ($5 mil a season for 2 years compared to $6mil a year for 5 years, with both having $10 mil guaranteed) Question about Amendola, was he the guy that had the horrific collar bone injury that was close to being "life threatening" this season for the Rams?
  23. Doesn't this happen almost every year, theres always some guys that people say "we should suck this year and get the #1 pick so we can get 'College Player X' "I think last year at this time people were talking about how great it would be to have a chance at Barkley and Smith for QB, and then during much of the season how it would suck that we weren't in a position to get T'eo cause he was going to be taken so early. Yesterday on WGR they mentioned how at one point, Locker would have been taken as one of the top QBs in the draft if he came out a year before he did
  24. Isn't that young/average for a pope?
  25. Awww man, I was just coming here to make a Tebow signing joke too...........
