  1. But do they drive BMWs? And do they attend high-level meetings?
  2. Yeah, must be tough spending the day lounging on their boat with their hot Latina girlfriends instead of bumping beer bellies with Stan all Sunday. I feel really bad for them.
  3. I never said it was classy. But neither are those gaudy Super Bowl Championship rings. Yeah, I wont disagree with that. And my comment was mostly a facetious call-out to the "Patriot Way". But I dont feel bad about running up the score in Pro Sports. Even when it happens to us. You're paid professionals. If you dont like it, stop them.
  4. That's disappointing, and doesnt bode well for his coaching career if accurate. This is professional sports, not pop warner. Again, I'll take the rings.
  5. Disagree. Allen can hit whoever he wants, but our team rule is no one gets to hit Allen. Pretty simple. Again, No one messes with Frack Gang. We do the messin.
  6. The most confusing part to me was that we got a penalty and somehow started the next play "1st and 9". Like, I get that it was a spot foul, and happened up-field, and we still lost 15 yards... but shouldnt it be 1st and 10 regardless? It wasnt going to be 1st and -6 without the penalty.
  7. Bills official Instagram posted it last week after the Jets win.
  8. He went where he would get paid. And bonus that it was back to his hometown. Which was probably the best move for him personally, but I still miss him and always knew we were not properly tapping into his talent and potential production. But he never seemed unhappy to be in Buffalo.
  9. Dont ***** with the Frack Gang and you wont get ***** with
  10. Great hit and Great play! Killed that drive, missed the FG, and kept the momentum in our favor. HUGE play! And best part: It was a clean hit. Proving that you can have effective, big hits without going high or leading with the helmet.
  11. Throw in Robert Woods. I miss him. This team could use him.
  12. When we got the ball at 1:49 with 2 TO, I wanted points. We should have had a nice 1:30 drive for any points, even a FG and gone into the half scoring and getting the ball back. For some reason they opened that drive with a badly called QB draw that went no where and killed all momentum. We ended up punting, and having only taken 17 seconds off the clock. Once we got the ball back I was ok running out the clock just because I didn't like the other option of doing something stupid. But that second-to-last drive should have been the last drive, and it should have produced points. Not happy with the way that went at all. And only begrudgingly agreed with running out the clock when we did get it back.
  13. Nothing to read between the lines. Please point out where in the first post you qualified your statement with "right now". You even mention the future with your "down the road" comment. If you mean he could still have a chance, you might want to edit that first post. And the Line consistently gave Josh 3 or more seconds to deliver the ball. Not every play, but no line does that. And yeah, any and every Tackle will whiff once in a while. Allow him to keep developing and that will be less and less.
  14. I dont necessarily miss these guys, but you have 2 Super Bowl rings and an AFC Champ contender listed there. It's not like having them is a bad thing.
  15. He's played 2 games as a 2nd round rookie and you already know he's not, and will never be, the answer at RT?
  16. Dang that's a bummer. Also very influential (and as a producer, responsible) for Weezer and their sound.
  17. Great breakdown, Virgil. WRT the stat curse, the one we all yelled about was when they showed Allen was 6/6. It's like talking to the pitcher during a no-hitter! Of course, the next pass he threw went incomplete!
  18. I'll take that 15 yard penalty every time. And if it keeps happening, the problem isnt the OLine getting penalties, the problem is it means the league is doing nothing as teams continue to cheap shot our young QB.
  19. Ford is fine. The line is fine. Not great, but they consistently gave Allen more than enough time to get the ball out. Whether or not Allen got it out in time is on Josh. They have plenty of room to grow, but I bill-ieve they will. Keep it as is, with Ty and Ford splitting time at RT.
  20. Also Gregg Williams: "We hit *****in' Smith, right there." (Williams points to his chin) Remember me, I've got first one. I've got the first one. (Williams rubs fingers together indicating cash payment) Every single one of you, before you get off the pile, affect the head. Early, affect the head. Continue, touch and hit the head. We need to find out in the first two series of the game, the little wide receiver, number 10, about his concussion. We need to *****in' put a lick on him right now. He needs to decide. We need to decide whether Crabtree wants to be a fake ass primadonna, or he wants to be a tough guy. We need to find that out. He becomes human when we *****in' take out that outside ACL. We need to decide on how many times we can beat Frank Gore's head. We need to decide how many times we can bullrush and we can put *****in' Vernon Davis's ankles over the pile. Another thing we always say, in this room, is never apologize for the way we compete. If you're in this room, you understand that. We dont apologize.
  21. That's what I thought as well, and how McD made it sound. Yeah, I think they may continue to split time at RT for Ford's development. But barring injury, I dont see him moving to Guard. That's not his future.
  22. Did they play Ford at RG in the Jets game? McD made it sound like he was completely off the field when not at RT.
  23. IMHO, I dont think so. I dont think they drafted Ford and started him Day 1 at RT to end up being a Guard. Even just for now. I have no problem rolling like they did Week 1 and giving Ford a chance to develop.
  24. In his post-game, McD said rotating Ty in for Ford was planned and scripted. They didnt want to overwhelm the rookie in his first game, and wanted to give him a chance to come out and watch with the coaches, while rotating back in. Said they had practiced like that during the week, so it wasn't much of a risk. If that is true, and he wasnt simply protecting Ford in the presser, then I give McD and Co. credit for having a good development plan for Ford, and for keeping a capable veteran in their pocket.
