It may have been the first time when he said it in the on-field interview post game. But to repeat it a couple more times in the post game press conference means he's not just joking. Focus on the team, not the fans.

Agreed 100%, hence my joke up thread. It's a bad look from Josh. Dont criticize the folks making $50k/yr, paying to be there, so you can make $60M/yr. The team wasnt anything close to perfect, so dont expect the fans to be perfect either. Lets just all appreciate the win, Josh.

As much as I criticize our own coaches, that was more Baltimore changing their defensive scheme. Once they went into "kill the clock", they let Josh be Josh. String of bad decisions from Harbaugh, the big one being punting it back to us instead of going for it on 4th and 3. The other being leaving Alexander on an island against Josh. Ravens coaches beat themselves more than our coaches did anything.

Rough night, but as others said, against one of (if not THE) best Offense we'll face all year. Let's see if things balance out after the next few games against the likes of the Jets, Dolphins, Saints, Patriots, Panthers... oh my god what a schedule...

He did as well as could be hoped for from a 6th round rookie, in a juiced up season opener, against a Super Bowl favorite with a high-voltage offense. Wasnt perfect, but nothing to be ashamed of either.

We all saw the game. No one is buying this. Our schemes did nothing for us. Defense couldnt stop anything until Ed made another individual play. And then the Ravens shifted into a McDefense and Josh worked his magic from there.

Agreed, the night game contributed to the decisions. If this was a 1pm game, not many would have left.

Eh, it's a night game. That plays a lot into it. Most folks need to show up for work, unlike the Bills defense. People always leave night games early. The 15 point deficit didnt help, for sure.

And has actually thrived and IMPROVED with the changes. The issue is our D. And to your point, McD will only promote from within and run the same scheme over and over that has been proven to fail in the playoffs. The offense is already set to change again when we lose Brady this offseason. You're worried about changing the Defense?

Good mention, but I counted him. I was counting the changes in OCs. So change to Dabol covered that. As much as I'd like to forget Dennison, we cant Tough to bash the guy. McD lost out on his first 3-4 OC choices and Dennison came into a job he knew he only had for a year, with a lot of work cut out for them.
