  1. Buncha bootlickers in this thread, trying to line the pockets of billionaire owners who dont work for their money.
  2. To be fair, he LOOKS like a franchise QB... but that's about it. He certainly doesnt play like one. And I never thought he ever did, even going back to Clemson. He always seemed like a guy who made it that far because he's 6'6" 220lbs, and football teams just hoped he'd turn into a real QB some day.
  3. Need to follow the Watson/Tucker/Kraft method. Keep those wrists healthy.
  4. We dont know what Johnson will cost. And I literally have a post in here detailing exactly what I want to pay Cook that is well short of $15M. In your completely made up, (almost unreasonably) extreme example, I'd agree that's too much investment at the RB spot. I think it can be done for less.
  5. I'd imagine it's a big goal and priority for McDermott and Beane to never have a player stuck with the Franchise Tag. Those are usually situations that lead to unhappy players, and issues in the locker room. Either pay your guys (like White, Oliver, Josh, Knox, Taron, etc) or dont (like Edmunds).
  6. Bills Fans seemingly have issues wrapping their heads around "We can have more than 1 nice thing" since the old Fred Jackson/Marshawn Lynch debate. We should be able to keep Cook AND Johnson. And have Ray Davis in the wings in case of injury.
  7. 3yr/$36M extension, $20M guaranteed. Then we have him at a reasonable price through his prime (29 yrs old). And after that he still has time to go sign another high-priced contract with some desperate team like the Raiders.
  8. Oh, James Cook is the new whipping boy, interesting. And its due to... checks notes... a social media comment, and cleaning up his social media profile. Ooooooo k... gonna be a long offseason with yall...
  9. My only complaint is that @SDS keeps raising the rates. Charging my card $100/month just so I can post here is a getting a bit ridiculous. Other than that, I love this board. From the clean design and asthetic, to the way it's moderated, to the community that "lives" here. Having so many members who meet in real life helps a great deal, compared to other boards I've been a part of. Keeps discussions civil and in perspective. I try to treat every conversation/debate here as if we were all chatting at a tailgate. Keeps things light and free of grudges. Gonna be a long offseason tho.
  10. To be fair, he said "$15 Mill year" NOT "$15 Mill a year" Maybe he meant this past season was so good for him, it was worth $15M and he's ready to sign a 3yr/$15M extension. 🤷‍♂️ Hey, a guy can dream.
  11. I didnt realize he's only 27. Would be nice to keep him around. I have to imagine he is happy being in Buffalo, with his man Kromer, and with Josh. Would love to keep him. If not, we also have SVGP waiting around in the wings.
  12. I didnt watch any of the game, but what I'm seeing today just confirmed what I was worried about when the Bills were still in it. The Eagles were a force and ready to bully anyone that stood in their way. The Bills/Josh might have fared a bit better, but it still would have been a bad day in Bills Land. And the only headline about the Bills would be about us finishing our cycle of losing Super Bowls to every team in the NFC East.
  13. Movie? Got a trailer link?
  14. Has it not been an entertainment company all along? It's not like we are talking about government institutions here. I dont necessarily disagree with your sentiment, but tough getting upset at a fish for swimming.

  16. This guy must be a rich model with these types of high standards.

  18. You read my mind. edit: I mean my FRIEND's mind
  19. Is that anatomically correct? asking for a friend.
  20. Kinda feels weird for anyone but Josh to buy it, lol although I'll admit this is pretty sweet https://www.fanatics.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/josh-allen-buffalo-bills-fanatics-authentic-framed-13-x-16-2024-nfl-mvp-of-the-year-collage/o-1394+t-47156856+p-7977247525585+z-9-3406242635?_ref=p-ALP:m-GRID:i-r0c1:po-1

  22. I get what you are saying about the consolation prize. It's definitely bitter sweet. For the bold, All-Pro and MVP are very different awards. I think the voters got it perfectly correct this year. Lamar has the better stats this season so he gets All-Pro. Josh had the better story all around, and meant more to his team since he did not have the same level of supporting cast as Lamar. That makes him the most valuable individual player. So she's a TBD member?
  23. They've had literally 100 years to plan for this and have been millionaires the whole time. I'm sure they have some sort of plan in place. Word is the kids have wanted to sell for a while but Virginia was stopping them.
