  1. Do you honestly think the Pegulas don't know what Brandon is going to say in a situation like this? Seriously? If you do, I've got some sweet land in Florida to sell you.
  2. I doubt he will coach on a one year contract. He becomes a lame duck. He will either be extended or he will go. I suspect he will be extended, and the Pegulas will pay him his contract if they need to fire him after next year. I don't think they will care about dead coach money as much as RW did.
  3. Plainly, no person on the face of the earth is an expert evaluator of QBs given all the swings and misses-- it is just about pure luck. If we could do it, we would become richer than avarice. So true
  4. Rational points. But as a gut reaction it still seems low.
  5. Seems mighty low. Bills must matchup better than I thought if that is the spread needed to keep the sharpies from jumping all over the Bills. Strange,
  6. That's fair-- many fans are crybabies about all sorts of things, like QBs, OCs head coaches, front offices, etc etc. But that does not mean sometimes the officiating is always fair and good. Thus crybabies might be right occasionally, like a broken clock. IMO, Sunday's officiating was a joke. That's not to say anybody is out to get the Bills all the time, but the calls on Sunday at critical moments had a significant impact on the game, and made the underdog's chance of winning completely remote.
  7. That's helpful. I don't think he is saying he wants him to go away. Rather his view is that Jerry is a poor excuse for a journalist. If Jerry can heckle the Bills, Bob has every right to heckle Jerry. Jerry says the Bills suck at their job. Bob says Jerry sucks at his job. Seems about right to me.
  8. I don't either-- and it is correct to call him out. Sullivan just mails it in these days, he would not know effort if it bit him in the ass. The use of the word choke was particularly laughable, and showed how lazy he is. I don't know what you use to describe the Bills effort on Sunday, but losing as 10 point underdogs is not a choke. It plainly was meant to inflame, which is all he's got left in his bag of tricks. What truly reflects poorly on Sullivan is he has some talent, but he only evidences it about 5 times a year. I don't care about his bitterness-- he's entitled to his opinion. What is worse is his lack of respect for hard work and good journalism-- he just restates the same thing over and over without even caring if it makes sense in context. If he goes off over the Watkins trade one more time out of context, I think I'll puke. Puke-- now that's a funny word. Anyway, given his lack of effort, it looks like he'll retire soon, if he's not fired first in a cost-cutting move.
  9. Kelly is unbearable.
  10. Yeah, Marone really should have kicked it harder with a lot more English. What an idiot.
  11. I'm not a homer-- and am quite disappointed. But you are simply a tool. Please leave. Or just start another I hate EJ thread, something you also excel at.
  12. The effing ball hit the ground about 10 yards away...
  13. Truly the refs are a joke in this game. It is hard to watch this much incompetence. A pick? Seriously. I mean blind!!!!!!!
  14. I never thought I would say this, but this has to be fixed.
  15. OK, I believe that. But teams do get mentally tired after expending energy-- that's why all athletes and teams have ups and downs, like pitchers in baseball. I guess what I was really trying to say is that Denver expended lots of mental energy against KC last week (and quite a bit against Miami the week before), and will definitely have to rev up for SD next week. Denver , therefore, has legitimate reasons not to be at their best this Sunday, notwithstanding their professionalism, dedication, skill etc. Like New England was against KC, or Denver against St. Louis (and to some extent new england where they were God awful)-- teams have off days. I realize I may be grasping at straws, but Buffalo is pretty good, and if Denver has an "off" day, that would help a bunch and give us a better chance of winning. That's all I was suggesting.
  16. Why, because they are not human?
  17. I know the term "trap game" is misused and overused, but does not the Bills game constitute a classic trap game for Denver. To be precise, Denver had a huge divisional matchup against KC last night and in Week 15 they have another huge divisional game against San Diego. Could they overlook the Bills-- or have a bit of an emotional letdown-- that gives the Bills a bit more of an opportunity than they might otherwise have? Just a thought.
  18. Oh, if you have a sesne of urgency you will find the guy? The point Promo makes is clear-- who since he was GM should Whaley have gotten? None of the guys you point to were available to Whaley, as opposed to his predecessors. So who could an "urgent Whaley" have gotten? The only answer so far has been Alex Smith, which is probably the best he could have gotten but that is not saying much. Yuck!
  19. Now you are just being House.
  20. Totally disagree. This team is vastly better than in 2012. Win against Cleveland, and Marrone is not going anywhere. Pegula is patient and can see a positive trajectory. Canning a coach after two years unless you have a disaster on your hands makes no sense except for fans.. right now this is hardly a disaster....
  21. Of course
  22. What an absolutely fantastic job. I'm a Lions fans the rest of the season!!!
