  1. It’s a bad class. Campbell is highly overrated on these boards he’s a mid to late 2nd rounder in my opinion and drafting him at 27 would be a waste.
  2. I actually think the Bills should wait and see what they have this year and if not take a guy like Danny Stutsman next year. Dude is a flat out stud who is all over the place on the field. He really impressed me as an FSU fan in the bowl game
  3. My sleepers in this draft are: Nick Saldiveri OG/OC Old Dominion Marte Mapu LB/S Sacramento State Karl Brooks DT Bowling Green Nic Jones CB/S Ball State Jake Andrew C Troy
  4. I love Zavala as well. His other negative is he only plays LG. Dude has no position versatility which NFL teams love. I could see that hurting him compared to other prospects. I dont know if Rush is really a sleeper at this point as hes likely to go in the 2nd round.
  5. So you’re okay with the idea of Laporta in round 2 but I took Kraft in round two and you hated it. There ain’t much of a difference. Kraft is a better blocker and Laporta is a better pass catcher as it sits now but not by some wide margin
  6. The Bills can do better than him. I'm not against the idea of bringing him back but I'm not paying him beyond a 1 year deal which is probably what he wants is a multi year deal.
  7. I think your looking way too much into combine interviews from a known hack like walterfootball. Its pretty widely known that NFL teams meet with most of the combine prospects in their 15 minutes speed interviews. The Bills have met with a lot more guys than are on this list and do you really believe that not one team has met with Jack Campbell or Joe Tippmann two guys who are widely considered 2-3rd round picks. Highly unlikely
  8. He’s the type of WR who will be a 2 here, have a good year. Some team will pay him to be a 1 and he’ll be a failure
  9. Nick Saldiveri OL Old Dominion Jartavius Martin DB Illinois
  10. My seats are pretty good section 135 row 12 and we keep trying to get closer to mid field but every year there is nothing better
  11. The 4-2-5 came about when offenses at the college level started by being pass heavy spread teams. The game a long time ago was about packing it in with big guys who could push each other and now its more about speed and separation. Spread offenses either make you pull that nickel player out of the box or 3rd LB. With 3rd Receivers being smaller and shiftier, you have to match it with a smaller shiftier player(Johnson). A LB, lets just say Klein would be at a severe disadvantage. In a 4-2-5 the Nickel and the safeties are very valuable as these 3 players ideally are big tough physical but also athletic enough to do coverage and come down to the line and face offensive lineman who are bigger than they are. This is why I believe Taylor Rapp was signed to be that bigger body who can do more of that whereas Johnson can be a little more limited.
  12. Big boards can’t really be taken seriously. Joe Schmo writer ones especially
  13. I dont think he's gonna make it through the NFL Network budget cuts...just based on a hunch.
  14. I don't see a lot of Ford in his game. He is much more nimble on his feet. I will say his kick slide and footwork looks much better when coming out of a 2 point stance vs a 3 point stance so he might need some refinement in that part of his game. I thought the Kentucky kid last year at RT reminded me of Ford.
  15. I didn't say he was the guy to get it done. I said out of the 3 options, he would be the best one. If you listen to the McDermott presser he kind of made it seem like Bernard would stay behind Milano but get a shot but he seemed more hesitant than Beane. Spector, while not a superior athlete like Edmunds, tested at the combine fairly well for a guy who was considered unathletic in scouting reports. He seemed to be the most instinctive based both on college tape and in the preseason when he was out there(granted against backups). He was always around the football in the preseason, he knew his assignments, and made tackles when the opportunity arose. If they want to draft a guy I wouldn't be against it though I think its a bad class. I could see them starting Dodson and eventually moving to Spector as well but I think at the end of the year, pending a highly drafted guy, that Spector will be manning the middle for the Bills based on his body type, his athletic profile, his ability to process and know his assignments. Spector will never be a flashy player nor will he have the physique of Edmunds but he's a heady ball player that I think could surprise with some time.
  16. I actually believe Spector will eventually be the guy this year at Mike
  17. Yup at this point its really like sign here for under 2 million and we'll give you a chance to hit the market next year with higher value.
  18. McDermott might finally be bringing back the Big Nickel defense that we thought the Bills were going to run when he first came on and never came to fruition. He has the size profile that you would typically like out of that position. A guy that I really like that could be a late round steal as a Big Nickel candidate is a kid by the name of Marte Mapu from Sacramento State. Just recently tore his pec tho and might miss some of the 2023 season.
  19. He's not like his brother when it comes to a certified ass kicker. He's an old school 2 down LB who can't cover, misses too many tackles, and is slow to read and react. His combine was either average or below average compared to his peers. The only area he was upper echelon was bench and this is not a particularly strong LB class to begin with.
  20. Noah Sewell is the softest big LB I've seen in a long time and he processes terribly. He is not his brother.
  21. to me when I look at these polls I don’t look at the Bills necessarily but is Bijan Robinson worthy of the 27th pick etc more than if I would take him at 27 if that makes sense
  22. So after the draft we do a delta value of guys that got picked at the spot in our draft/vs real draft. Guys with the highest delta value are considered the best drafters. All guys who go undrafted are calculated as if they would be the next pick. As an example I drafted Merriweather at 256 and he’s drafted at 156 I would gain + 100 in the delta and vice versa. I also go back a couple years. Just like any GM I’ve crushed a few, average a few and stunk in a few. Maybe later I’ll post a couple of my past ones. I haven’t always been the Bills as there are a couple other Bills fans who have participated and it’s only fair
  23. We're not screwed we'lll get a good football player that they like it might not just be at a position that everyone perceives as a major need. We have some other needs besides LB, WR, etc. We could draft a Tackle or a DT, DE type player in round 1 and to me it wouldn't be a big deal because we do need help at those positions as well.
  24. I mean obviously UGA has a ton of guys I’d say the most likely to be a Bill are Darnell Washington, Christopher Smith, and Warren McLendon. Maybe Robert Beal late I think Carter, Jones, Ringo, Smith amongst others are either guys that will go before the Bills pick or don’t make sense due to positional need and where they will be picked
