  1. Cogent observation.
  2. Didn't help get insight into girls, either. I was disappointed.
  3. I dunno, when I sent off for my degree after sending in proof of purchase for all those comic books, they didn't tell me anything about email direct script. Must be something that requires a higher level buy in.
  4. I wondered, too, but not enough to ask.
  5. It's all one big cabal and nobody can read anybody's handwriting.
  6. Poached, Over easy, Sunnyside up, Hard-boiled, Scrambled, or my favorite
  7. I'm guessing it's an implicit political message as I suppose you know. Doesn't have anything to do with football which coincidentally, neither do Diggs tweets.
  8. I think it should be Ducks Given (used the PG Version, but actually that might work.)
  9. I wish @Einstein's Dog would get involved, because I am thinking of writing a groundbreaking monograph on how it was really Einstein's wire fox terrier Chico that wrote the paper on general relativity.
  10. So it's basically the NFL would prefer to relocate small franchises to larger markets and collect a windfall. That will always be true. Since Terry Pegula clearly purchased both the Bills and the Sabres to keep them in Buffalo and there are indications at least some of his older children are not indifferent, the hearsay is either specious speculation based on the general principle that a city like Buffalo should always be ripe for the picking or it boils down to ghoulish speculation about Kim Pegula and the punitive nature of the inheritance tax. The whole thing is distasteful and I do not believe either is rooted in anything substantial.
  11. I like Eastern rite Catholic. Orthodoxy retains elements of the Greek patristic heritage that are recessed in the Latin tradition.
  12. Very much doubt that would be a common response and most folks would rightly knock it down.
  13. We may have to get in touch with the Guinness Book of World Records which reminds me I have to check the fridge and see if it's properly stocked.
  14. Alright, skeptics, this does seem to be a lot more than an enigmatic, obscure Instagram post. Don't know if it will happen, but it's not just smoke, it's an actual smoke signal.
  15. At least on D, their misses tend to be mediocre and not complete whiffs. I think Robinson goes before 27. It is still too much expenditure at the position. The running back room is pretty good, imo. Dorsey needs to use Cook and Hines ability to catch passes and generally call a better game. You probably do need to move Oliver to get the cap room to acquire Hopkins, so then you would probably see a high pick DT to replace him. @HappyDays wrote up this scenario. (They might go DT early regardless.)
  16. That's a slight problem. Maybe they should bring in some new evaluators.
  17. Lots of good books in the library, well, there used to be, I'm not sure now.
  18. You're going to be surprised when someone drafts his twin brother Keion.
  19. I'm not crazy about Darnell Wright, but I would take him. Paris Johnson definitely gone, Broderick Jones as well. At WR, JSN, Addison, and Johnston who is risky are the only true first round considerations. I don't like JSN's hammy issues. I think Addison is gone early. Maybe Johnston slides. Hyatt is strictly a second rounder for me. I like Kincaid a lot. He'll go before 27, so where do you go for impactful offensive players in the first? Maybe they take John Michael Schmitz early. I would prefer Darnell Washington if they reach a bit. Not even considering RB. Those folks are almost as irrational as the Campbellites.
  20. Well, I like it better than LB. He's an athletic freak which is their type.
  21. I do think Beane needs to use more premium draft picks on offense, but his roster construction is a more fundamental problem. He overpays consistently for mediocre players, you're right there.
  22. There might not be a lot of teams that want to trade up. Assuming there isn't a player Beane clearly has ranked as a first rounder at a position he values, he will have to figure who he is willing to take at 27 regardless in case that trade back possibility doesn't materialize. Personally, I think Mazi Smith and Darnell Washington are possibilities.
  23. 27. Dalton Kincaid TE Utah 59. John Michael Schmitz OC Minnesota 91. Christopher Smith II S Georgia 130. Byron Young DT Alabama 137. Bryce Ford-Wheaton WR West Virginia 205. YaYa Diaby EDGE Louisville I really worry what you are going to do with yourself once the draft actually occurs. I hope you don't start running mock 2024 Drafts.
  24. I think this is actually a pretty strong possibility.
  25. This whole thread started because OP heard bits and pieces of a conversation out of sequence and then speculated a specific assertion by Kirwan that another poster who actually listened to the entire broadcast in context refuted. Then a bunch of folks chose to take the theme and run with it regardless of whether there was an actual basis for it. They speculated about private anguish and inheritance tax and the like to paint a dismal, sad picture. I guess there are those who enjoy despondent thoughts, but it seems perverse to me.
