If he can't figure out putting the uniform on, he'll never make it in the league. -

I think you're over-estimating Jackson. Fella is a Commodore 64.

RIP Michael Gambon ( Albus Dumbledore "Harry Potter" )

In the early 90's, he played the detective Maigret. Thought he was very good in that. -
Well, I see that weakness in the run game is where he is anchoring his criticism. I'm sure a smaller LB will have some issues there. What I don't quite get is how Edmunds' loss could become the key to an argument at the position if being a liability in the run game is the criteria. I sure don't recall the fella focusing on it all summer in the endless posts about LB. Regardless, Edmunds' specialty is getting dragged for three or four yards before making a stop on a rb, so I don't see how that is a stellar floor that Bernard will struggle to match.

You spent all off-season developing the argument that Beane was reckless and incompetent for not planning ahead for the absence of Edmunds. They should have had a plan. So, naturally, you're going to find whatever holes in his game you can. There's not much chance you will acknowledge Bernard was in any manner an effective and reasonable plan. If it works out, it was sheer luck I guess. Miami is a challenge for anyone right now. I sorta like that we have a MLB with instincts to add to a suddenly very effective DL.

You better be careful or your pals won't let you back in the Pessimist's Club. -

God have mercy. Prayers for all who sorrow, healing for the wounded, body and soul.

My guess, 13 seconds, every time he calls a time out on defense, you know the other team is going to either score or at least make the first down. Mostly, fear that he isn't up to winning it all.

You can barely buy a used coffee pot with a crack in it for that kind of money.

I'd rather they call Eli Ankou up from the practice squad.

It's going to be amusing when he turns out to be better than Deshaun Watson.

Didn't read carefully the original quote. Just saw Jets and Jimmy . . .

Strange start to the year. Falcons and Bucs undefeated as well.

Commanders are 2 - 0.

Sorry, I forgot about the ignore feature. Go right ahead.

Why don't you stop crusading in the middle of a game thread?

It's a Bills' fan who writes it. Pretty funny, but not really going to find an audience after last week.

Josh needs to play smart. He has the intellect for it. It is a question of will, so ultimately it is a character thing. (Unless he is really bad at seeing the field. That would add to the concerns, because for whatever reason, he is ignoring open receivers in the short and mid-range routes.) There is an old saying, "character is destiny." I believe he will get there, but it's not a certainty and you can't fix ingrained tendencies by flipping a switch.

I think he's so messed up right now he can't even play man coverage well. I feel bad for the kid. It was up to the coaching staff to incorporate his particular skills. They tried to turn him into something he's not. -
Jimmy Spagnola, a parody account devoted to the genius of Jets' fans.
