Definitely a poo take.

It's the corollary to the uncanny success of opposition kickers.

Well done.

Yeah, they are an utter embarrassment.

Hey, pal. Back at ya!

The results of today have magnified its importance. I actually think we should win it. The Cowboys are a different team on the road. Of course, we've shown ourselves to be so capable of inexplicable losses, that even the Chargers game cannot be unquestionably chalked up as a win, though we ought to crush them.
-
I wish you all would come to consensus on who we want to win, so then I'd know the other team is the one that will prevail. It's all rather droll.

He's a total troll. Don't reply, just ignore.

Say hello to airseven and filthybeast.

I was responding to the context of a particular comment, not the article itself in what you quoted. I do think Dunne has an agenda. I don't think he would go out of his way to gather opinions that counter that agenda. There may also be substantial truth in much of what he asserts. Nonetheless, interpretation shapes facts, and ultimately determines judgment. I am ambivalent about McD, but have been pushing for Ben Johnson for a while now. I'd be happy for the team to spark and make a SB run. I'd be glad for McD to win, but I doubt it happens.

At the very least, those are plausible and rational considerations. If one was attempting to understand the complexity of a situation that would bear upon decisions about coaching personnel, one could not leave them out, without prejudice. I haven't been happy with McDermott, but I don't think he is psychotic and emotionally incapable of bonding with fellow human beings. The timing of this article is curious. Anyway, if the intent was to exacerbate the feelings of those inclined to have a negative appraisal of his coaching tenure, it has had the opposite effect on me. I'm still wary of his coaching ceiling. If the season continues to go sideways, I'll still be wanting to give Ben Johnson a call. But all this makes me want to dig my heels in, and hope McD rights the ship.

Still bitter about that fourth round pick, are we? He's having an exceptional rookie year, and should be a weapon for years to come.

These refs are absolutely unbelievable.

And of course.

It was Dawkins, apparently.

Week 12, Bills v. Iggles - Predict the Score
Dr. Who replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have yet to see Harty run fast, despite the FA expenditure to get him. But otherwise, I do think there is reason to hope, but very little runway, so no room for bad weeks. -
Other than watching football for decades, I am hardly an expert. So, this is impressionistic, rather than numbers analysis like you hard core folks do. It seemed like Dorsey's use of the run game was random or sometimes apparently stubborn to the point of absurdity (Goal line shotgun runs or not using Josh Allen on fourth-and-one when the qb sneak appeared a no-brainer.) If Brady can truly integrate the run game into some tactically meaningful sequences, that would be a significant improvement. For whatever reason, the way Dorsey called a game was predictable. Apart from that, I still think our relative weakness at WR2 is a constant drag on the offense. Hopefully, Brady will find the right folks to emphasize, week-to-week.

Week 12: Buffalo Bills vs Philadelphia Eagles
Dr. Who replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Brady is going to have to legally change his name. I know I'm old and I still think San Diego when I see Chargers and the name that can't be mentioned when I see Washington, but honestly, every time someone mentions the offense and Brady, I have a momentary visceral feeling of nausea accompanied by a brief mental disconnect, before the meaning suddenly becomes clear. -
Wonder if those Chiefs' fans that like to come to our board will show up to celebrate.

Stop channeling airseven.

I understand your predilections and your reasoning. It would be utterly out-of-character for you to come to a different conclusion. I'd prefer to roll the dice on Ben Johnson if they can get him. I wouldn't change the staff just to change, but I'd rather go with an offensive specialist as head coach. This era of football needs excellence and continuity on that side of the field. Defense is still important, but if you have to favor one side, I think it is not the one McDermott prizes.

I think the argument about the effect of McDermott's proclivities on Josh Allen is plausible. I also believe that folks have innate tendencies that don't change. McDermott would be happier with a Bob Griese at qb, given his psychology and preferred football strategies. The Bills need to draft more o-line and wr early. And they need a gifted offensive playcaller as HC. Go get Ben Johnson, Terry Pegula, and stop risking ruining the once-in-a-lifetime franchise qb you were fortunate enough to draft.
