Imagine how they would be rated if they played decent teams.

Old man lying by the side of the road With the lorries rolling by Blue moon sinking from the weight of the load And the buildings scrape the sky Cold wind ripping down the alley at dawn And the morning paper flies Dead man lying by the side of the road With the daylight in his eyes Don't let it bring you down It's only castles burning Find someone who's turning And you will come around

Finished with my woman 'cause She couldn't help me with my mind People think I'm insane because I am frowning all the time All day long I think of things But nothing seems to satisfy Think I'll lose my mind If I don't find something to pacify

I'm going to put this up there on my list of all time great posts. Bravo!!!

Agreed. Robinson even looks faster than he did at Alabama, I and I know this would not seem possible. He is still far from a speedster, but; he is very strong with a head of steam and is a vicious blocker. He is actually doing a little better in the NFL than I expected. This sounds to be right up their alley.

My favorite is Keith Carlock. The man is beyond great. Jmo. -
I think that most people on this board knew this was going to happen. If there were 64 playoff teams there would still be fans complaining that their team didn't make it. I think that when more games are scheduled, MANY players will refuse to play and I for one do not blame them. Between these conference title games and expanded playoffs, the kids will be playing in far too many games, thus risking serious injuries before their NFL careers. If they are going to expand the number of playoff teams (which is a matter of time imo), they should reduce the number of games per regular season and eliminate conference championship games which are useless imo. I don't know, should the SEC and the Big 10 simply have their own playoffs?

Rest in peace, is it half of TBD or the 2025 Buffalo Bills?
Bill from NYC replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unless I am misinterpreting your post, you seem to feel that if the Bills fall short of your expectations this year, it will be because of the defense. Please correct me if I'm wrong and accept my apology. Imo, if the Bills falter this year (barring an injury to Josh) it will be due to a lack of offensive weapons. Since McDermott arrived in 2017, there have been nine NFL drafts. Seven of our first picks have been used on defensive players. I shouild note that two of these first picks were in round two (2020 and 2024). My thing is that the game has obviously changed since the 2010 rule changes. I can no longer visualize a Steel Curtain, or an 86 Bears defense ever happening again. I suppose that the old Arena League was ahead of it's time because the NFL is now an offensive league. I can't see how this can be denied. McDermott is a defensive coach, and I don't see how this will ever change. He has a Hall of Fame QB and fails to make providing him with weapons his top priority. I am not saying that McDermott is a "bad" coach. My thing is that his primary focus is defense, (secondary in particular) whereas three of his seven first round picks were cornerbacks, and imo there is no reason to believe that this will cease. Again, I think that McDermott is a good coach, but; if the Bills have a bad season this year it will be his fault (other than an injury to Josh) and he should be fired. https://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/teams/bills As always, jmo. -
And when I wake up in the morning To feel the daybreak on my face There's a blood that's flowin' through the feeling With a knife to open up the sky's veins Some things will never change They stand there looking backwards, half unconscious from the pain They may seem rearranged In the back water swirling there is something that will never change

Good point. He should have focused much more on cornerbacks.

After Alabama's debacle last season, who knows?

I think that he will declare for the draft if Texas wins the title. Jmo.

It really might be mere preseason hype, but I'm reading that Ty Simpson is looking good at Alabama. I was not a fan of Milroe as a QB. He's a really good person and he has all the talent in the world. but he was an inadequate passer imo. Simpson cannot run like Milroe (who can?), but he can run some, and he's a very good scrambler. In the little I saw of him last season, he threw some nice, accurate passes. I wanted Coach DeBoer to put him in last year when Milroe faltered, but I'm not the coach and I'm sure DeBoer had his reasons for not doing so. There was competition for the job this year, to include a 5 star freshman (Keelon Russell), who I think will be exceptional down the road. Simpson was also a 5 star, but he played for a somewhat small high school in Tennessee. In any event, The Crimson Tide will take the field in 22 days. Good luck to fans of any particular team! ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, but now old friends, they're acting strange And they shake their heads and they tell me that I've changed Well, something's lost, but something's gained In living every day I've looked at life from both sides now From win and lose and still somehow It's life's illusions I recall I really don't know life at all

Christian Wilkins released for kissing team mate
Bill from NYC replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
His behavior has probably been covered up for since his early years, and it isn't funny. He sounds like a sexual predator to me who will probably wind up harming someone and hopefully wind up in prison. Imo any team that signs him is helping to flush the NFL down the toilet. -
