That said, when Jairus Byrd came to town, he lit it up! He was picking off passes one after the other. I thought, "maybe I'm wrong. This guy is great!" Well, at a tailgate at RWS, I mentioned my views on Byrd to @BADOLBILZ. He told me that Byrd was good but far from great. Well, while he was never a bad player imo, he was far from great. His production rapidly fell off and my reluctance to drafting secondary early was fully restored. 👍🏈
