  1. nice video clips from his career with the Lions. Mean bastard on the field for sure http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-top-ten/09000d5d809991f5/Top-Ten-Not-in-HOF-Alex-Karras
  2. Other linebackers in the elite class: LSU's Barkevious Mingo, Georgia's Jarvis Jones, Stanford's Shane Skov, Texas A&M's Sean Porter, Florida State's Brandon Jenkins, Alabama's Nico Johnson, North Carolina's Kevin Reddick, Penn State's Gerald Hodges, and Kansas State's Arthur Brown. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d82a7b04e/article/barkevious-mingo-manti-teo-highlight-top-college-linebackers
  3. Then there was the time we put chocolate exlax in the frosting of her birthday cake.....good times.
  4. How did you know? I didn't wear red, white, and blue zubaz to work today. Shame on me. But I am wearing a Darby the Dinosaur t-shirt. Hope that makes up for it.
  5. You can always tell when a team is doing poorly. Their fans turn on each other in internet spats over who is a "true fan." Sad, really.
  6. If he was so vital to the Bills' success, then how come people keep misspelling his name? I like Moorman alot, but this team has bigger problems than punting.
  7. Fred's been like this for years. He's loyal to who ever is signing a paycheck for him.
  8. Good luck to Brian Moorman. He was a bright light on this roster during some dark times. Wish him well.
  9. I cannot wait to see Glenn's battle with the Patriots' first round pick, DE Chandler Jones on Sunday.
  10. Performance trumps sentimentality in the NFL. I'm glad the Bills aren't willing to stay married to their mistakes, but they would have saved money by cutting him in the preseason while giving Moorman the chance to hook up with another team before the season started.
  11. There's many reasons why they call the Browns' stadium "The Factory of Sadness." There's one.
  12. I am concerned that Gilmore is still going through a learning curve. And McGee has a bad habit of playing too far off receivers. But Gronkowski and Winslow may prove to be the biggest headaches of all next week. I think the Patriots' passing game is gonna go right after the Bills' linebakers to test their coverage abilities.
  13. I bet the NFL gives Belichick a slap on the wrist. Maybe a $25,000 fine at most. They don't want to draw anymore attention to the subpar scab officiating than they have to. Plus god forbid they upset Krafty Bob.
  14. I agree. Plenty of other sites to get Bills news if you choose not to subscribe. I understand the need papers have to sell content on line now that paper subscriptions have dwindled. But no one is forcing you to buy it.
  15. This week it was the other team's fans leaving early --- that's pretty cool.
  16. It wasn't a pretty game, but it seemed like when the Browns were ready to take over the game and keep momentum, the Bills defense made a stand and the offense answered with a drive. Buffalo should beat a team with this many flaws and they did, but the Bills have to limit miscues against the good teams (e.g, Gilmore getting turned around in coverage, costly penalties, etc.) if they want to keep winning.

  18. I don't really like them, but what do I know? I'm an old fart. If the kids like them and someone donated them, I guess that's what matters.

  20. Oh really? There were a few times yesterday that the Bills got a little too cute with the playcalling especially with the wildcat. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2012/9/17/3343082/bills-35-chiefs-17-cj-spiller-chan-gailey
  21. http://www.torontosun.com/2012/09/16/bills-accuse-chiefs-hali-of-cheap-shots Nice.
