  1. I think it's amusing that they think the Patriots have one of the most loyal fan bases. There were tumbleweeds blowing through Sullivan Stadium when the likes of Hugh Millen and Scott Zolak played QB for NE. As soon as Brady retires that bandwagon will come to a screeching halt.
  2. I think there is a law that NFL teams in Florida have to have garishly tacky uniforms. Buccaneers you are on the clock!
  3. I think that any of us who get angry about years of futility will identify with this fan. Plus this is just plain funny. A sample: http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/com/4000025014.html
  4. The NFL is in the entertainment business, yet they penalize their showmen. Nice going Goodell. Glad you and the competition committee are taking care of this serious problem instead of that pesky head injury issue.
  5. I don't know anyone who has ever regretted going to a game in Green Bay. Great tailgating, good fans, and a stadium with history.
  6. Funny and creative! You have the WNY accents down. And I think I've heard arguments like this before at tailgate parties.
  7. Report: Aaron Hernandez Could Face Death Penalty If Federal Charges Are Filed, Lawyer Says http://nesn.com/2013/07/report-aaron-hernandez-could-face-death-penalty-as-federal-charges-remain-possibility/
  8. You know what else is a waste of time SJBF? Reading someone's posts that repeat the same content only with slightly different wording. Why don't you start a separate thread in the Off The Wall forum about what you think constitutes news. This thread is about Hernandez.
  9. <- I found this TD celebration photo of Scott Chandler kinda funny. He made this face while he tossed the ball back to the ref. It was during the Kansas City game 9/16/12.
  10. Surveillance photos from night of Lloyd murder show Aaron Hernandez holding a gun. http://www.myfoxbost...images-released
  11. Anyone else remember this guy. He's best known for this time with the Giants, but he ended up going to the Patriots with Parcells: In 1998, Dave Meggett was arrested in Toronto, Canada, after authorities said he allegedly assaulted an escort worker after a three-way sexual encounter. A trial on the assault charge ended with a hung jury in April 2000.[3] Meggett was the parks and recreation director in Robersonville, N.C. but resigned in 2006, after he was accused of sexually assaulting his former girlfriend.[4]In 2007, he was convicted of misdemeanor sexual battery in the case, receiving two years probation. Authorities said he was allowed to move back to South Carolina to serve his probation. On November 10, 2010, Meggett was sentenced to 30 years in prison for burglary and criminal sexual conduct.[5] Meggett's current release date is slated for July 2034. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Meggett
  12. Omaha World-Herald reports that Patriots CB Alfonzo Dennard arrested early this morning in connection with DUI case. http://www.omaha.com/article/20130711/NEWS/130719884/1685#ex-husker-alfonzo-dennard-arrested-in-dui-case But this is not the first time Dennard has been in trouble: More than a year ago, Stille said, Dennard was contacted by Lincoln police over a fight outside a downtown Lincoln bar, and Dennard punched an investigating officer in the face. He said Dennard was convicted of assaulting the officer. In March, Dennard received two years of probation, a 30-day jail sentence and 100 hours of community service for his felony assault conviction. Lancaster County Court Judge Stephanie Stacy told Dennard that the jail sentence would start March 1, 2014, during the NFL offseason. Dennard's lawyer, Terry Dougherty, told the judge after the sentencing that he'd file a motion next March to suspend the sentence if Dennard complies with all parts of his probation. Stacy said she'd consider the motion. Nebraska coach Bo Pelini attended the hearing. He also wrote a “character letter” in support of Dennard. New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and University of Nebraska Regent Tim Clare also wrote character letters.
  13. Boston Globe sources: Boston Police investigating 2012 double murder have seized in Bristol, CT a silver SUV linked to the crime. https://twitter.com/WesleyLowery Speculation that Lloyd knew about Hernandez's involvement with that drive-by; killed because he knew too much and AH thought he was talking about it to the wrong people?

  16. Yep. As I said many pages ago in this thread, Hernandez can't be the sharpest knife in the drawer if he thought smashing his phone or his home security system would be enough to cover his tracks. I bet there is even more evidence uncovered by forensics that we haven't heard about yet. You can bet there will be more coming out in the trial. And no one can tell me the Patriots didn't cut Hernandez without getting some damning off-the-record information from local law enforcement or NFL security.
  17. Patriots bar Hernandez from facilities: http://bostonherald.com/news_opinion/local_coverage/2013/06/source_aaron_hernandez_barred_by_patriots
  18. Gee, I wonder who taught Hernandez how to cover up video evidence?
  19. I will wait to see what evidence they produce before I believe Hernandez is guilty of anything other than obstruction. What I find suspicious is that the victim's girlfriend -- Hernandez's gf's sister -- couldn't be located by law enforcement during the 2 days after the murder. Why would she be in hiding?
  20. Looks like he's gone to his lawyer's office in the Back Bay of Boston. Not exactly the chase scene in Bullitt.
  21. Bianchi: Aaron Hernandez also questioned in shooting when he played for Gators http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/blogs/open-mike/os-mb-aaron-hernandez-gators-patriots-20130620,0,192937.post
  22. Geez, now the news stations in Boston are following Hernandez's SUV like it was another OJ Bronco run. WCVB's helicopter streaming live now: http://livewire.wcvb.com/Event/New_England_Patriots_TE_Aaron_Hernandez_questioned_in_murder_probe
  23. A writer for Boston.com says that his law enforcement sources say that Aaron Hernandez will be charged in connection with the North Attleboro murder, but what the charges are -- obstruction or accessory -- remain to be confirmed. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/06/20/storm-clouds-gathering-around-hernandez/ Oops beaten to it.
