  1. They will sign one after the draft.
  2. You know that it increases for EVERY team right... Which drives the prices up.
  3. I believe I made an inference which is high level reading comp indeed! Middle school at least! I inferred that you implied that we won't know if our schedule this year is harder until after the season. Usually I'd agree except in this case where last year's preposterously easy schedule makes that damn near impossible. Schedule will be much tougher this year.
  4. Agree 100% those were horrendous.
  5. They are waiting on the draft before signing a RB. Very very likely they sign one of those vet RBs post draft.
  6. LOL how could the schedule possibly be as easy as last year? Look no further than the draft order this year. We played FOUR of the five worst teams including the Fins twice. And we were extremely fortunate to play Mariota (and Eli) before he got benched.
  7. How about Flacco, who is an actual FA?
  8. Losing Collins the first time didn't affect them. Their D got BETTER after losing Trey Flowers last year. To say nothing of Seymour, Milloy, Gronk, Welker, Chandler Jones...UGH. So depressing.
  9. poor Ray-Ray McCloud... did we save anything by not tendering him?
  10. Evans and Godwin alone are better than our 3.
  11. I guess that means Hughes and Jefferson are scrubs too. Cut em all right?
  12. Oh darn I'm sure Yeldon woulda been a real difference maker....more than the guy making tackles preventing long returns on kicks and punts.
  13. What's the point of cutting Murphy? A rookie or Daryl Johnson is going to play all his snaps? Or are you counting on Addison to replace both Shaq AND Murphy?
  14. This is why the calls for signing Hooper are silly. Knox had some terrible drops but he made some great catches. The issue is in his head not his hands. That's fixable. Rarely do TEs make such an impact in their rookie year. Ertz, Kelce, and Kittle took years to become dominant. Knox has elite talent. Looking forward to year 2.
  15. He will almost double that $
  16. I've been watching the Bills since the early 90s and Knox is already one of the best TEs we've had, and he was only a rookie. He's going to be very good if he catches the ball with more consistency.
  17. Anyone know if we are eligible for a comp pick for Liuget since he joined midseason?
  18. I think Spain is a goner because they have Spencer Long. Long was signed to be a starter but Spain fell into our laps at a bargain price. . They aren't going to give Spain a multi-year deal with a viable starter already on the books. To say nothing of the possibility, remote as it may be, of Ford moving to guard.
  19. Diggs Brandin Cooks or Robert Woods Corey Davis
  20. Poyer is not going to get some huge payday. He's too old and not an elite talent. They'll extend him to a reasonable deal a la Hughes, except cheaper because he plays a cheaper position.
  21. Lol yeah. He's not getting traded. Don't think that matters...unused cap space rolls over anyway.
  22. I think he will sign a reasonable 3 year extension, similar to how they took care of Hughes. Seems to be an important leader on the D.
  23. Correct. Look how long they held onto Ducasse and Bodine this year. These guys will ALL probably be given a chance to make the team at least. There's really no need to cut any of them, especially Murphy. I think Long will step in at LG and give us a relatively cheap starter, or compete with a rookie for the job. Even Krofts salary isn't over the top...look at the contracts TEs are getting these days. Short term at 5 mill isn't breaking the bank and cutting him probably wouldn't be worth it.
  24. Signing those guys takes a huge chunk of guaranteed money. Cutting any of those guys only covers a SMALL fraction of that. Insignificant in comparison. The consequences of giving any of those contracts will be the near-certain future loss of guys like Dawkins, Milano, etc. because we can't commit to that many long term contracts.
