Gabe is who he is, but it seems like the Bills haven’t let anyone be a consistent slot WR to allow them to get established. Between 12 personnel and running Harty, Sherfield, and Shakir in rotation it hasn’t worked. At all.
I guess if you coach long enough, you’ll have a ton of losses, because the bad coaches don’t last long enough to pile up the losses. The guy Belichick will soon pass is Tom Landry, currently with most losses. Winning percentage is more relevant.
They do have some young guys in development for safety, and this Bills regime has shown an unusually good track record of bringing low round guys into the mix on defense.
They don’t really have any young WRs that are prospects to take over for Gabe.
Bills plan to keep AJE invisible the rest of the year to keep his price down to where they can afford to resign him.
Apparently, same thing with Ed Oliver. That’s why he’s been invisible until this year. It works!
It seemed like Josh would go to Kincaid early in games to get the defense focused on covering the whole formation. For whatever reason, Josh seemed to be hyper focused on Diggs last night. Maybe he’s not in agreement with certain offensive approaches and is trying to send a message to the coaches? Just like with his running - the coaches have been trying to reel him in for a couple years now. It’s now to the point where Josh refuses to take the easy run yards available to him. Maybe he’s sending a message to the coaches that he’s not happy not being able to play more free?
