Dion is a fat tub of goo. Useless. Probably beats his dog. Pegula is an idiot for allowing him to be on the team. Such a low rent team. The entire city sucks so bad. I’m leaving for good. Go Dion! Go Bills! Go Buffalo!

Dwayne Haskins killed [Edit: struck by vehicle]
WotAGuy replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sadly, I wonder how much of this is the family trying to recoup their golden calf that was Haskins. The way they are trying to blame everything except the weather is suspect. -
In the late 70s, there was a small joint that served wings - it was on the south side of Bailey between Millersport and Main. I have no idea what the name was but we used to go there for late night wings when I was in high school. Also, the original Mighty Taco on Hertel was a trip during the same time frame. One time we went sometime after midnight and parked at a gas station a block away. I took a leak next to the car and a cop pulled in and gave me the ol “What if you mother looked out her window and saw that” routine. Had a packed bowl sitting in the ashtray that he never noticed.

The Ringer ranking of Receiver Cores - Opinions???
WotAGuy replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
In the case of the BiIls, it’s wide receiver corpse. -
The main risk is getting some kind of weird virus on your PC. I always put a condom over my laptop before game time.

Josh's girlfriend is already complaining

To be honest, I don’t like having my picture taken when I’m out in public. Fortunately it has never happened. -
Do you think it’s any more risky than weather affecting the satellite reception? I’ve never had a dish but have heard weather can affect reception.

Need some stem cell replacement from Nolan Ryan. That’ll fix it.

You can set up a family share using Google Family or some such thing: https://support.google.com/youtubetv/answer/13316318#family&zippy=%2Ccan-i-share-nfl-sunday-ticket-with-my-family

Maybe the guy is broke and this is a money grab, but I can also see where he may feel betrayed by the family if the details in the article are true. Maybe he’s upset about the legal status and how he was mislead. Things like that can cut deep when you are involved, as opposed to reading about it and passing judgement that he should have just been grateful. However, I would think he would have read the family’s book and would have questioned why they were saying he got a cut of the profits. It would seem at that point he would have questioned things.

I don’t know how you made that leap, but I was asking an honest question. From the article, it sounds like Oher was already admitted into the private school and was being housed by various school friends until the family asked him to live with them full time. I don’t see the obvious risk of death in that scenario. According to the article, he was already being shepherded by a friend’s father who got him into the school and had friends that were helping him before he even met the family.

Exactly. I mean, look at all the rugby teams playing in domes. -

If you stay in East Aurora, stop at Vidler’s. It’s like stepping back in time! -

If you’re gonna build a “dome”, Minneapolis’s is the way to go. That place is awesome. I was there for Josh’s leap over Barr. Had a bit of an airport feel to the concourses, but it was really well done and didn’t feel like a typical “dome”. Worth going there to see a game for sure. -

WotAGuy replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Superdome has a capacity of 83,000, and being a dome necessarily has a different layout than an open air stadium. My daughter said the same thing you did - the uppermost deck was frightening. Sofi is 70,000 capacity. So, the Bills stadium being 63,000-ish should make it more compact, I would guess. If there’s been a lack of design drawings, I just don’t see how people can make these sweeping generalizations about the new stadium. And for the plans that are out there (like the one embedded upthread), I wonder how they have been projected visually to show the seating and maybe distorting the visual because it’s difficult to project a stacked design in a 2-D drawing, if you know what I mean. Besides, once it is built, there will be even more complaints - because you can’t please all the people all the time. -

Did the article mention Beane was at Tempo having dinner with @BADOLBILZ, @Einstein and @ScottLaw when this went down?

LOL. Apparently you haven’t turned a TV on during late Saturday morning/early afternoon in 40 years.
