  1. Couldn't be his epic record of head coaching success.....
  2. Damn - just bought a Marrone jersey too.
  3. Must be Orton retiring put him over the edge......
  4. http://mmqb.si.com/2014/12/30/buffalo-bills-2014-nfl/
  5. Wait....it's meaningful that Marrone gets them to play for him in this meaningless game, when he couldn't get them to play for him in the most meaningful game in 10 years last week?
  6. Here's a dilemma: would you rather be a poster that starts threads like this one, OR, be a poster that replies to threads like this one?
  7. "your posts ceases to amazing me!" Likewise! http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/174540-rumor-polian-could-return-as-soon-as-monday/page__st__100#entry3391180
  8. "One could easily say that the dominate defense greatly helped the special teams all this year." It's one thing to mix verbs for adjectives, but that football statement is even more egregious! http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/174542-report-no-football-ops-changes-expected-with-bills/page__st__20
  9. I have seen military personnel wearing dark blue cammo fatigues and thought it weird. Are there blue jungles out there?
  10. One man army! Johnny Seven OMA - could kill a guy 7 different ways! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Seven_OMA
  11. In case you missed it - saw this live while at breakfast this morning. Happened during a live remote from Detroit regarding the Bills' game: http://thebiglead.com/2014/11/23/bob-holtzman-kept-his-cool-during-nsfw-videobomb-on-sportscenter/
  12. That is adorable! Congrats on a beautiful Godson. Since he's already a Bills fan, start teaching him now that swearing is a sin.
  13. I think the NFL should dedicate December as Lake Effect Awareness Month, and allow teams to wear white accessories and white ribbons and trot out displaced people whose homes have collapsed. "NO MORE. NO MORE 'WE DIDN'T HAVE OUR PLOWS READY'. NO MORE 'THE FORECAST DIDN'T PREDICT THIS'. NO MORE. NO MORE"
  14. Nope US is on top, which is where I prefer to be as well.
  15. The Bills did that with Billy Joe Hobert but only with a blank notebook. I wonder if Orton or EJ has EVER told the coaches the game plan "looks great" ??
  16. Syracuse-area spokesmodel Kaylee Nixon:
  17. Having trouble deciding who is hotter - the US or Pakistani agent? Hope there's a catfight this season!
  18. I was at this one: http://www.billsdaily.com/articles/thunder/ne2.html I remember it was relatively warm when I got into Buffalo from Syracuse at about 9 am that morning. But the wind was howling and the temperature dropped quickly and consistently throughout the game until blizzard conditions hit during the game. I remember how surreal it looked with the lights on and the snow swirling around. Drive home was a nightmare, especially since i stopped at my sister's for dinner after the game and played some pool with a buddy in Clarence. That was a loooong cold day. Oh, and they lost in OT.
  19. au contraire! I have been watching since well before the playoff drought, and have seen the same conservative game management, poor O-line play, bad quarterbacking, and defense that lets down or wears down when we need a stop the most. This is very much the same team, even if the names have changed.
  20. I can second, or third, the D5100. Got mine a few years ago, and my daughter now has one too. In fact, she took my 35mm f1.8 lens because she does more portraiture than I did. Nikon's lenses that came with the kit Promo described have performed well. I have Nikon's wide angle zoom (18-55mm) and longer zoom (55-200mm) and those serve most situations. If you are just getting into a DSLR, you will have more than enough versatility and quality for your needs. Enjoy! P.S. Be sure to get UV and polarizer filters for your lenses - provides protection against damage to the glass and enhances the photo quality.

  22. Actually, the Bills can beat each of their remaining opponents. Unfortunately, the Bills have a greater chance of beating themselves.
  23. wow - this thread has almost 20,000 views in less than 12 hours. Beerball has lots of followers.
  24. It's taken quite a few years (of therapeutic work ) to not take the Bills' ups and downs as seriously as I used to (which started in 1968). The first game I ever attended the Bills lost to the Raiders 48-6. Yesterday's game would have been much more frustrating for me if it wasn't so familiar and sadly, predictable. I understand this group of players has no connection to the past, but it's amazing the Bills as a team has so consistently failed through their own ineptitude over the years. Seeing this played out over the past 46 years, with only a few stints of success, gets old and frustrating. So, I learned to detach and not get too caught up in the Bills misfortunes. But to expect anonymous people on a Bills' message board to react in a measured and sane way is unrealistic. The venting here might prevent someone from punching a wall, kicking the dog or yelling at their kid. Or posting here might precede those events....who knows. I actually enjoy the overreactions. The guy calling for Crossman's head, for instance, was amusing, as were the responses he got. It actually helps me to get over the losses when I read people's overreactions and I remember this is just a game, and not very important in the grand scheme of my life. To make a general post condemning other people's reactions is equally amusing, as are the responses. So, keep it up TSW - the intended and unintended humor are much appreciated, as are the serious posts providing great insight, analysis and links to interesting resources. The only thing that would make this place better would be having a poster's BAC associated with each post.
