I don't think anyone in this thread is assigning blame for all 15 years of futility. The administration, coaches and players have all changed over the past 15 years, so other than the owner and his key chiefs, no one has been here for the whole time. I read the OP as saying the fans and media will be looking for a fall guy for this year's failure to make the playoffs (if it happens) because the longer the streak of futility continues, the less patience there is for standing pat.

Isn't it though? I started my Bills addiction in 1968, so I am used to years of failure - but somehow grew to love them anyway. I still love them but don't really expect much from them. Having low expectations means I am surprised and happy when they simply knock Brady on his ass and make him swear at his O-linemen!
