  1. In all fairness, I read the "failure" to be the playoff drought, not the current state of the team.
  2. You are a brave man, starting a thread with that question!
  3. Filling in for GBID - she doesn't look 35 and no.
  4. I cannot have a full stomach when watching a Bills game. At best, indigestion - at worst, a mess to clean up. This ^^^ It seems every big/sensational play has a flag. It's more a lousy reality show than sporting event.
  5. Drunk OP or not, I'm on board with the premise. This is the time of year when the Bills can make a statement and establish themselves as a major playoff contender. But ever since the infamous Steelers game, they always lose at this juncture. Or, they have ended up having the ridiculous playoff scenarios where every contending team has to lose out for the Bills to make it in. The Chiefs game is the test to set themselves apart as not just a contender for a wild card, but to actually win a game or two in the playoffs. If they lose to the Chiefs, they are pretenders. Houston will also be a good test, but it's at home. If the Bills beat the Chiefs on the road, I will be shocked, but will be on board the bandwagon that I jumped off quite a few years ago.
  6. Well, it did hook you into posting!
  7. Are the fireworks part of the show or is there an electrical fire? #WTF
  8. I'm thankful that the Bills exist and have been touchstone memories of times with my father (RIP), my sister, my best friends and 80,000 maniacs on many, many Sundays. The Bills have also taught me about acceptance and what the true priorities are in life (one of them is not NFL football). Happy Thanksgiving.
  9. I don't want to be in the lead heading into the last of the 4th Q; Brady will take them down and score every time. I'd rather we have the ball last, going for the win. Like at the end of the first half, we had Brady's number all game to that point, and then we let up on the pressure and they get a TD in 33 seconds. With the missed figgie that's a 10-point swing. WTF
  10. With respect to the Patriots receiving favorable treatment from the refs and league, I recall the same outrage during the 1970s when the Bills lost 20 straight to the Dolphins. There were many critical penalties that went against the Bills and some were pretty rare - like Pat Toomay getting an unsportsmanlike conduct for pushing a ref out of the way to make a tackle. If we had TBD back then, there would have been very similar threads about the Dolphins. We just could not beat them - because they had Shula, Griese and they were an overall better organization - by far.
  11. I'm pretty sure being married to Kathy Lee can induce CTE - THAT is traumatic.
  12. They should be thanking him. Didn't the Bills lose the game?
  13. He's strictly a numbers guy as well.
  14. Just say Phuket and go to Thailand
  15. Game went as many of us expected. It's old hat by now so no anger or frustration here. We still control our destiny, but Houston and KC are surging and they will be tough games. If we beat them both we will be on a good roll. Best part of last night was watching Brady get hit, frustrated, and screaming expletives at his line. That was beautiful to watch. It was also nice to hear Ray Lewis talk so positively about Tyrod in the pregame show. Tyrod sounds like a guy I want to root for. If anyone is a judge of high character guys, it's Ray-Ray.
  16. This is how I justify watching football.....
  17. I know! I didn't see any reasoning either! Whew! I'm glad at least you and I are on the same page!
  18. That's an insult to the word "reasoning".
  19. Jared may have preferred that to what he's likely to experience in prison.
  20. Wow. All that because Jared got three extra years? I can see you have many concerns about our system of justice and your post explains many things I did not previously understand about your position on this. So, thanks for taking the time to spell things out. And I appreciate you accepting my apology.
  21. I know, right? I'd try to connect the dots for Tom, but I'm trying to watch a football game here.
  22. "I really don't want to be rude but this post is just so incredibly stupid on so many levels. You're so far out of your depth, and you don't even know enough to know how far out of your depth you are. If you had a clue you'd be embarrassed for having said this." See what I did there? Never mind......
  23. I can't help you, you're an idiot. 😇(I was responding to a specific poster by referencing statements I made in an earlier post)
  24. If my first statement is incorrect, I apologize. If it is correct and you were wrongly accused and sentenced for a crime you did not commit, I am very sorry and apologize. I stand by my second statement; if you don't commit a crime you have nothing to worry about. If you are worried about the "flaws" in the system in general, exercise your vote, take up residence elsewhere or find a way to lobby for change. Using the example of a child molester getting a few years added to his "honorable deal" is a pretty poor venue for making the points you are trying to make, regardless of their validity. I stand by my third statement: not committing crimes is not that difficult.
  25. Me thinks Rob has gotten the shaft from a judge more than once! If you don't want to risk getting screwed by a flawed system, don't commit a crime. It's really not that difficult of an accomplishment.
