I went through a “ philosophy and examination” phase in college. All kinds of books read about various Eastern religions and other such practices around the world. Alternated that with an obsession about learning about the Vietnam war. I read a lot of books back then LOL. Music wise was all prog rock in the late 70’s, moved to pink and alternative in fall of 81 when I arrived at college.

I agree with ALL of this. Foxx , do they have the roomettes on this train? Not a full sleeper car, but decent enough. Two seats , fold into a bed, private room with a door. Sink and a toilet in there, ( but I always go the public restroom, ) access to shower, includes your food. That is one long trip sleeping in a chair and just overall not getting up and going for a run etc. and yes, trains are always freaking late and WiFi sucks. And i I am with GBID, make sure to BYOB if you are a drinker. Booze just as expensive on the train as it is in a plane.

I am the exact same way. I want friends where I retire, and not old fogeys. We will retire to DC, Richmond and Buffalo.

I am surprised some in here are arguing Cooks got the better deal as it’s a 5 year deal as opposed to Sammie’s 3 year deal. I am not sure of the guarantee money on Cooks, but I will make a leap and say it is close to Sammie’s. If that is the case, Sammy has the much better deal. He get another bite at the contract Apple in 3 years, with a huge portion of his money guaranteed. Model contract act for the future. He is winning at he business side of football no doubt.

As you know, I drive quite a bit..here are my suggestions for semi healthy fast food that's pretty damn good 1) Subway roasted chicken Ceaser wrap. The chicken is actually quite good, they give you a ton...and Inam telling you will enjoy. Just need to make damn sure they go lite on the Ceaser dressing, or it gets messy driving and calories go way up. Yes, I was as surprised as most something from Subway is actually quite tasty. Not cheap though..like $7. 2) the power steak buttito from Taco Bell. All good stuff inside , like 450 calories..little Diablo sauce on top and a quite satisfying lunch on the go...with nothing fried ! Loved Treaches, still a couple in No Va...at least there were about 4 years ago. Asfar as Cookout goes, as Mr Info stated they are cheap and decent. As far as I can tell, they only open In locations where another fast place has shut down..so a lot Ralleys/Checkers or Captain D places for example. Some may have sit down areas, some may be drive through only. They must get rent cheap as hell as the building are sitting empty. Pretty interesting business model.

Lived in DC then, watched and/or went to almost all the Redskins game that year...the offensive line was the best I have ever seen. #3 I will always remember Reich missing Lofton on a go route down the sideline in front of us beginning of the 4th. Frank had done a great looking off the safety, and if he hits him in stride it was a TD. Knew we were dead then.

Lots of TV I remember , but in terms of “ specials” certainly the 72 Olympics. Than the next summer was thw freaking Watergate Hearings all summer. I have no clue what would have been on TV in the afternoon that made me pissed they were on, but certainly something. This is also made think I was 9, brother 11, sister 12 in 72. I distinctly remember riding bikes 2 miles in the AM to go to swim practice, riding home making breakfast and watching the Olympics...all the while both parents at work all day, home at 5.45or so. Parents be in jail for that today!

Saw Zach Brown and OneRepublic on Friday in DC. Going in, thought i knew about 2 OneRepublic songs and zero ZBB songs. Turns out I knew about 10 OneRepublic and about 4 or 5 ZBB. BUt ZBB always played a ton of great covers...very entertaining show. Was a bit cranky going in...but very happy I ended up going.

I would have taken 5 more in a row. Only one i thought they would lose is #2 .

#1) if the players would act together and not sign deals unless they were guaranteed, you would have guaranteed contracts. #2) There are guarantees now, called signing bonuses...as well as other guarantees #3) In return for said signing bonuses, teams insist on years at the end of a deal that are team options..players give in for some reason. For cap reasons could make them player/team option. both have to agree to move forward #4) Agree with Kirby, moving forward I believe you will see more and more deals signed that are shorter, with each year guaranteed and no signing bonus. Ala Sammy Watkins and the 3-year deal he signed, all fully guaranteed I believe...or at least most of it(edit..$30M guaranteed). And that dude gets another bite at the apple when he is still in 20's....so he did get a big signing bonus...i think that goes away too

I just finished listening top hour 1 of their show on demand, they talked about the fact that they and corporate are well aware of the issues, keep your emails and tweets going to Entercom, the frustration is being heard loud and clear at corporate and they are working hard to get it fixed. They sounded as pissed as everyone here, just could not say it as loud as they wanted...they do like to get paid and all

All of that is true i believe..from all accounts he did sail some easy as pie throws yesterday, his line is in major flux, weapons are limited, new coordinater, not a true accomplished vet in the room to guide him.... wife 4 years younger than me..key 4 years as our cultural icons growing up, are significantly different. My sister married a man 21 years older than her when she about 30. Was no big deal then..sure as hell is now 29 years later.

the old app went backwards as well...why in the hell would it do that is a great question..stupid I agree. BTW, go into the settings menu, select "audio settings" and you can disable autoplay there. Works just fine for me. I would enable it if the damn thing went forward, not backward!

yep..thats what I meant..everything else expensive too..soo the extra cost of the ticket relatively minor in comparison. Milwaukee also an option to fly into. @Mr Infohas an option for lodging that can make that piece less expensive. And dont get on my trust fund status...my lambo in the garage right now and I am not happy!!!!
