Who knew JJ Watt was such a closet Pats fan the whole time he played? His commentary was radio homer-level stuff and had no business on a broadcast. I realize it wasn’t the national game, so at least the majority of the country wasn’t subjected to his mad ball-washing of all things Vrabel.

I think @HOUSE @WotAGuy and yourself are locks to make the team, and @Einstein may be a solid addition to the practice squad. 😂

It seems most posters on this board don’t watch a down.

This team’s success is only partially built around WRs. But yet, this thread will get 743 responses. 702 of them with the obligatory “Beane and McDermott and Babich and Brady should be fired” posts. 😀

Another example of why the “get the star” build for a team is a crap shoot. Lot of luck required. The star gets hurt — and you’re left holding the bag. EDIT: And have many fans talking about how the GM stinks for making that deal, since the guy was “a bust”. I write the above only because we’ve never seen this before here.

Cossell has an axe to grind with Buffalo. He’s been saying this exactly for several years and while perhaps true at one time, this year the facts don’t support his claims as many other posters have already noted. Of course, nuanced takes are not really the primary objective of football pundits these days — or a large number of Bills fans it seems.

Many thanks for your balanced take. I don’t agree with the notion that the Bills WRs are the “worst in the league”, but it is not an unusual opinion on this board and that horse is fairly badly beaten to comment further. As a non sequitor, I assume you are an Arsenal fan?

Shhhh…you’re spoiling his narrative. Repeat after me: in no particular order. Our WRs are horrid, the worst in the NFL by a large margin. Brady is unimaginative, McDermott can’t win a big game. Injuries are no excuse, must be Beanes fault. Oh, and Allen’s play has nothing to do with anything — he’s a generational talent, so every problem we face this year lies outside his purview.

LOL, it’s almost every thread that brings out the trolls these days. Even the seemingly innocuous ones. Seems like there are plenty of folks who have a bit too much time on their hands. Or are certifiable. Or both.

Agree. He’s widely considered one of, if not the best, nickel CBs in the game. One dude on the Fish last year was quoted as saying he is the key to the Bills’ D and they have to game plan specifically for him. I get that there is recency bias and he may not be playing at the same level that last couple games, but there are so many lazy takes here.

Living outside SF, I can’t say I feel the same. The only team I can’t stand more that the Patsies are the Whiners. Local media and fans are insufferable, and that’s when they aren’t very good. The last few years it’s been tough to turn on sports radio.
