  1. Well, Tremaine didn’t play today so the default candidate for the “he sucks” posts by the usual suspects was out. At least the6 are thinking outside the box a bit for a change.
  2. You left out the part about the thread continuing for another three pages after that common sense post.
  3. I find offensive the ease at which you became offended.
  4. “Preventive” is enough you are saying? I’ve no issues with either sentence you wrote, but what bothers me more is the current use of the verb “do” these days as a catch all for any action. “Yeah, I’ll do a martini with a lemon twist.” ”I’ll do the rigatoni.” it used to be that men would use that verb as part of locker room talk. 😀
  5. LOL…you’ve been around long enough that I see what you did here. I love how so many threads turn in to Tremaine-bashing. Reminds me of retroactive Flutie or RJ bashing back in the day. It’s like having a glass of champagne in the morning. Adds a bit of sparkle to the day, as once quoted by a Mr. Osato, for all you Bond aficionados.
  6. Don’t worry, someone will find a way to bash Edmunds instead soon enough. 😀
  7. Sure it is. Clear sign that Allen is too short, like Flutie. Cut him today.
  8. You stole that from Miyagi-do Karate. But I think it is “no can defense” 🙂
  9. What’s irritating is listening to Collinsworth polish Mahomes’ knob. I just muted.
  10. Agree - plus I am sure there are a subset of them that “know” they are right and that any evidence that contradicts their viewpoint is coming from a source that is not trustworthy. Welcome to today’s world, and pass the beer nuts.
  11. Absolutely agree…hence my comment previously that this goes way beyond football.
  12. Goes way beyond football I’m afraid, jefe.
  13. Yep, he didn’t tuck his chin. Someone told me QBs are taught to do that when pushed backwards…I can’t speak for the veracity of this claim though.
  14. I might go a bit farther than that. I like to joke with my nephew (both of us recognize just how amazingly talented Josh is BTW) can be counted on for two major head scratching plays per game. Look, he is human, I get that, and his positives far and away outweigh any negatives. And he had been doing better at a managing his “hero ball” instinct that got him into a lot of trouble in his first couple years. I wouldn’t trade him for any other QB in the NFL. It’s just that those head scratchers can be very frustrating to watch, particularly when they happen in close games that might go either way.
  15. Just saw this - very good read, and apologies in advance if someone posted this in one of the other threads where this topic is coming up. https://www.si.com/nfl/2022/09/30/tua-tagovailoa-concussion-protocol-loophole-exposed
  16. I am often very surprised what many Dolphin fans believe based on their posts on this board, actually. Not calling anyone out by handle, but we all know who they are. 😀
  17. Well, it seems now to have been hijacked by yet another Trent Edwards conversation and responses to a Dolphin troll if that is any consolidation Tuel. 😀
  18. If we’re talking about blasts from the past, this one still lingers after all these years. I vividly remember watching this live on TV with my brother to this day. Love me some Ben Dreith.
  19. The more irritating ones are not Einstein-like, but those who pretend not to be trolls, but have overall consistently negative messages designed to provoke and irritate people. I have enjoyed the Hogboy-like obvious trolls who bring levity over many years. Not so much the other kind.
  20. I agree. Do note though that the NFL doesn’t market it like this and neither do the pundits. I always wonder why it is dubbed as Allen vs Mahomes or Rogers vs Brady and stats are bandied about regarding head to heads. Not like QBs see the field at the same time…go to a tennis court if you want HTH to have any meaning (and even there it is over-valued).
  21. Yep. It’s the NFL. We lost one game. Happens to most good teams for diverse reasons. In nearly 20 years of following and occasionally posting here, I still don’t understand why anyone gives a flying F about hot takes from these guys like Smith, Cowherd, and others who deliberately push buttons to ge5 clicks or reactions. Anyone who watched the last three Bills games and spot-checked the rest of the NFL knows who the teams who have the talent to win the SB are this year. The Bills are one of them. It would take something catastrophic for us to miss the playoffs. We need the fortune to have our best players available when we do to make the final push. Long season, we will see.
  22. Poorly-informed hot takes are the new normal. Didn’t you get the memo? 😀
  23. You do realize that our O line was also either completely gassed, or playing backups by the 4th for the most part? I’ve seen all kinds of blame being thrown around for lack of a running game. Mitch being out hurts for sure as noted by others but it is clear that good run blocking like we saw against LA for a fair number of plays requires the cohesion of the first unit, including line and receivers. Any time we play backups at these positions the run game goes To hell in a hand basket.
