  1. No pass rush, D-Line dominated, who is the MLB?
  2. Stroud under intense pressure-- also held the ball too long, zeroed in on one receiver. The way things look now, I would think Mills is the favorite to start for a bad Texans team.
  3. Byrd and Edgerson were the starting corners on the 60's championship teams. Byrd definitely belongs on the Wall--- if not the Hall.
  4. McDermott with some valuable advice on how to close out an opponent.
  5. Dropped the News completely a few years ago (was hanging on for a while with just the Sunday edition).
  6. Well, you have to get in to win. My concern is this duo may have taken the team as far as they can.
  7. Timing is strange to me. After 13 seconds, last year's playoff collapse, and McDermott's handling of the Diggs situation, I thought this year would have been allowed to play out first. True, it does not mean change cannot be made-- just see the timing as strange. Many question whether McDermott is the one to lead the Bills to that ever-elusive SB win-- or if he's taken them as far as he can.
  8. Nice late signing at a position of need.
  9. Very surprised by this. Never liked the pick-- undersized and underperformed in college. Extension may free up cap room, but I would have rather tried to keep Edmunds. And, as others have noted, he is oft-injured. Just very curious, imo.
  10. Got Ateman--- who needs Hopkins?
  11. Three games come to mind where Allen failed at the end in a loss-- and two were not turnovers. First, against Tennessee-- where he slipped and fell on his own on the goal line trying to score winning TD. Second-- fumbled the ball on his own goal line vs. Minnesota (just trying to kneel out the clock). 3rd-- bounce pass last year vs. Miami when throwing for what would have been the winning TD. Too many miscues at the end of games-- when the franchise QB should be at his best. If he wants to improve, this is a good area to start.
  12. The way Allen and the offense were rolling in '21 when 13 seconds happened-- that was the Bills big shot at the SB. Step back last year (yes, there were extenuating circumstances), and hopes with this current coaching staff are waning. We have seen the stats re: coaches and QB's getting to the Super Bowl--- and by that analysis, McDermott/Allen are at the end of their rope. I really think changes at the top are necessary to recharge this team-- if they continue to slip or perform at a similar level this year.
  13. Greatest RB (maybe FB player ) of all-time. Did great work for the Civil Rights Movement, but had a troubled personal life. RIP.
  14. Byrd, McDole and Moulds are all worthy candidates. Off-field trouble has probably kept Bennett off.
  15. 60's Bills, along with Sestak, Saimes and Stratton, I would suggest Ron McDole (great career with Bills-- 5-time All-AFL, and Washington). And as in the case with Byrd-- why isn't he on the Wall of Fame?
  16. I generally like my games at 1:00 PM Sunday. So much for that. Also, just about all those tough matchups in the back half of the schedule are on the road.
  17. Major need that wasn't addressed in the draft. There had been talk, but I thought he might be too expensive.
  18. I guess as a 5th round flyer? (he never scored more than 3 TD's in a season, nor did he ever reach 600 receiving yards). At receiver, I was looking at Hutchinson and Boutte (who also had issues).
  19. He was a bust with two major college programs. May have been available as a FA. This after the baffling Williams pick.

    YEAH

    Insightful. Do you have more?
  21. They have really struggled to get it right on the DL. Frankly, any spot could be upgraded-- other than a healthy Von Miller.
  22. If the Bills want to maintain their standing in the league, they are going to have to start drafting really well. Far too many misses-- especially on the DL.
  23. I agree on points one and 4-- but would not call Rousseau an exception at this point.
