buffaloboyinATL replied to FitzShowUsYourTitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Which means 5 or 6. If I was the NFL, I would definitely put us on six primetime games, because we are such a fun team to watch, for better or worse. -
Schedule Release - Rumors & Leaks

I expect 3-4 prime time games this year, and personally, I am ok with that. The NFL can shine the spotlight somewhere else... -
Is Josh becoming too commercialized?
buffaloboyinATL replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
For years, we have been waiting to have a QB who was good enough to receive national attention, and respect from the national sports media. Now that we have it, we can’t complain about what comes with it. Time to sit back and enjoy the ride… -
I believe that Is a Bills player being attacked by the Lobster people. But I could be wrong…

Thank you for that perspective. Josh is an alpha male and hates to lose. This paints a much clearer picture -

I wonder why they made him a Tight End on November 19th, 2022… 😛 -

I was thinking it started with the Indian burial ground thread, but this one works too… -
I thought for sure this was gonna be another Josh and Brittany thread.

Should the Bills move Milano to MLB?
buffaloboyinATL replied to Bobby Hooks's topic in The Stadium Wall
If we did, I would be even more upset that we did not draft Nolan Smith. I am excited to have Kincaid, but I also believe Nolan Smith will be a difference maker on Defense. -
He and Rousseau will be sittin’ in the locker room eating fromage.

Yeah, but I am all for developing the heir apparent at center. I am a big Mitch Morse fan, but his concussions scare me. It is only a matter of time before he has to call it quits.
-
Good find. I could get behind this addition.

RD 5, Pick 150: WR Justin Shorter, Florida
buffaloboyinATL replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gotta love those long strides! -
Just happens in the draft sometimes, based on positional need etc. We were probably helped by the run on WR’s, among other things. But it is not like other TE’s got valued ahead of him, he was still viewed as TE #1. Despite the cost, I am so happy that Beane moved up and got him.

To this point, I was also thinking that the Bills had another huge advantage in their evaluation of Shorter, that I have not seen mentioned much yet. They have Kair Elam. Elam practiced against Shorter on a daily basis, and had to be a good source of information regarding his strengths, weaknesses etc. I have no evidence that they took advantage of this connection, but it seems likely that they did. -

Someone said it early in the thread and a bunch of people took him at his word and started repeating it as though it was fact. The reality is, it was a knock on him early in college and he worked so hard on it, he turned a weakness into a strength. Then, he had some soft tissue injuries, (hammie’s) that kept him off the field, and he started conditioning differently and shows signs of improvement there too. My kind of player, with a very high ceiling, and I am amazed that more people are not excited about this pick.
