I have a friend whose son is bi-polar. He has had it under control for the most part with medication for a couple of years. Several months ago he was at a party and supposedly took some "bad drugs" which triggered a pretty bad psychotic episode which required him being committed for a period of time, etc... It apparently affected the chemical balance in his brain and although he is getting better now, it has taken some time. So option #3 is very possible from what I have seen.

I disagree. If they believe after all of their research, that Allen has the potential to be our franchise quarterback, then I will be happy that they take the initiative to go get him. I would much prefer that they take control and go get the one they truly want, regardless of who it is, rather than wait and see who falls to us. Hopefully, if there is no one they deem truly worthy, they will stay put and build the roster around McCarron and Peterman.

Jackson = Tyrod and Mayfield = Manziel is the lazy comparison that everyone keeps making. Allen = JaMarcus Russell is pretty popular too.

This place will already go crazy based on who we take (or don’t take) but if it not a QB in round 1, the meltdown will be epic.

If Beane has a QB in mind that he loves and has the cojones to wait until number 12 to take him, and it actually works, that would be GM of the year material. We will build a shrine in his honor in Buffalo! Please let that happen.
