  1. Sorry. 100% agree. I was referring to comments I heard about him when he first came to the NFL. My point was that speed alone is not the only way to separate. My bad.
  2. I get that, but guys like Davonte Adams don’t “separate” either, but they catch more than they miss when it comes to jump balls, contested catches, etc. Let Shakir and Samuel create space, Coleman will produce when called upon.
  3. Wearing their green "color rush" jerseys...
  4. There are only a few houses in that neighborhood, if it is the one I am thinking. If so, I remember going in to look at them when they were being built (about 10 years ago or so). They started at about $3.5 mil back then.
  5. Does he make less than Waddle now?
  6. Really? Football players misbehaving on the flight home, after a victory? I’m not saying it makes it right, but I have to assume this happens quite often, or at least it used to. maybe she was just mad because it was a kicker, and not a real football player.
  7. There are many, but this one came to mind first: I took a road trip with a buddy to Houston, to watch JP Losman and Lee Evans put on a show on the field, to secure a win against the Texans. After the game, I went down close to the field and joined a group of Bills fans cheering on our victorious visiting team. I struck up a conversation with a woman next to me, and when the crowd started to die down, she and her husband started walking away, and she told me to follow them. It turned out that she was Melvin Fowler's mother, and she brought me down to the family section, where the team was coming out of the stadium to get on the bus. She introduced me to a bunch of players and their families, I got some autographs on my hat, and had a really cool experience in general. I have since been fortunate enough to do this a couple of more times, through other connections, but that first time was so random, that it most memorable.
  8. He didn’t need a non-versatile Center, he needed a Center. He was just available because of the perception (likely accurate) that he can’t play Guard.
  9. You go ahead and keep believing that. Samuel has an elite skill set, and will thrive in this offense. Shakir has continued to improve in his short career and I believe he will take another step forward this season. If you think Coleman is “just a guy”, I question your ability to judge receivers. add in Kincaid, Hollins MVS etc, and you have a better WR group than last year. ps, I have stats to back up the “Samuel has elite skills” comment, if you don’t believe me. I have posted them here previously.
  10. And then they see New York, or Chicago, or LA. There is always a bigger pond…
  11. The gift that keeps on giving…
  12. Crazy that they have 6 primetime games. Of course, I believe they are all in the first 11 weeks, just in case.
  13. My current debates are Detroit, LA, or Houston.
  14. I am happy with our WR room the way it is, and I believe Elam still has a lot of upside, so I voted no.
  15. more than I expected, unless it is highly incentive laden.
  16. Agreed, unless he really shows something in camp. PS maybe?
  17. Give that man some spinach.
  18. Lotta pop in those hands, and great bend. Love what I see so far.
  19. I love the imagery! Even though it gave me flash backs to that damn catch by Justin Jefferson. (not that I'm comparing the 2)
  20. sounds like maybe he was hurt, or coming back from an injury?
  21. Agreed, mostly because he was mis-used, (in my opinion) and has only played with mediocre QB's thus far in his career. That being said, Next Gen Stats (@nextgenstats on TwitterX), and Cover1 support the case that his physical capabilities are still there. 1. According to NextGen, Samuel averaged 9.08 mph within the first second of his routes in 2023. They call it "burst" He was the 3rd quickest in the NFL for receivers with at least 300 routes. Bills ranked 29th in the league in that category last year, at 7.95 mph. (Gabe was 8.25 mph and Stef was 7.73) 2. Cover1 posted that Samuel was tied for 13th last season in average separation with 3.3 yards. Those are elite numbers. Now Josh just needs to get him the ball, and he could have a great season. That burst will keep teams honest. I am honestly starting to get excited. There is a lot of talent on this Offense!
  22. He was more effective with it in Carolina, (with Brady) than he was in Washington.
  23. Samuel can stretch the field.
