There is a stat that they are in top 3 of least amount trailing through the 1st 10 games in nfl history. Like the Eagles last year, they are killing teams early (and sometimes choking), so they aren’t getting that stat padding stats like other teams get.

What is racist about it? What can’t Lamar do that other qbs can’t do? Lot of old guy bill Polian vibes on this board. People love hating Lamar and dude has done nothing but win since he was a late 1st round pick after winning the Heisman.

I’m not thrived with the staff right now but kinda BS to give them no credit. Diggs has had the best seasons of his career here. Allen wasn’t 1st or 2nd team mountain west. Hyde and Poyer weren’t full time starters. Bernard, Milano, etc. plenty of guys have benefited from being in Buffalo. leasership isn’t whiny or throwing tantrums when things don’t go right (or having your annoying brother do it). It’s picking up your guy when times are tough. Or being happy with a win even though you had 2 catches. This is why it is really hard for receivers to be leaders of teams. Teams can win games and they won’t always get their numbers (which hurts their bottom line). I love Diggs as a player but there are so many better ways to lead than he does.

Put some money on this and you will clean up! And then you have bragging rights on this board as well! but I pray you’re right. It’s funny after missing the playoffs for 17 years, I’ve come to expect it. I will be really sad if we don’t (even though I know a heartbreaking loss would be in store but I’ll take that pain).

I won 6 games of a 7 teamer and only had to have the bills win. I sadly bet the Broncos to hedge because I don’t trust this team now and has the saddest hedge consolation prize ever. There is no way a team with this much talent and Allen should lose to Zack Wilson twice. It would be beyond pathetic. But I haven’t felt this unconfident in the bills in 5 years. Bills 9, Jets 6

Well you couldn’t ask for a better first test for Brady. Study that gross first game and do the opposite. after that lost that crap fest (on my birthday no less 😞), I stayed I would bet $1,000 on the bills in the second game because there’s no way they would lose 2 games to Zack Wilson. I’m terrified to do so now. And that makes me sad.

Diggs is always crying about something though. He cried in Minnesota when they almost went to the SB. He acts like he’s the only who cares. id also argue that he bullied Allen and Dorsey to feed him the ball to the point where Allen struggles to find other guys. Diggs is a great receiver. I struggle to call him a great leader. He’s the guy who wants to leave the second it gets tough. again, great player and he makes this offense way better. But I’d love to see what we could get for him this offense. The. Just load up young high draft pick receivers (much cheaper, less whiny) and have them grow with Allen.

I think to the OP’s original point, there is some truth to it. I, and probably most people, would love to play with Allen. Awesome dude, funny, positive vibes type. But the Jordan-Brady type is the one who screams at you and might punch you (not sissy boy) if they don’t think you doing what you’re supposed to do. I would hate that style personally but sometimes it is needed. Like sometimes Allen should tell Diggs to shut up or not pout when something goes wrong. I think the thing with Allen is he is kinda of a late bloomer so I don’t think he has ever thought of himself at the main guy who has to hold everyone accountable. On this team, I think it’s Diggs. And I don’t know if receiver is really the position to do that.

I will always respect positivity but isn’t him getting almost $50 million/ year enough? And why does he get the extra chant? Why not Davis? Or cook? Or Dawkins? The penis was unnecessary though.

I will say and it’s the part that annoys me about sports/ fans. If it works and they sack him or make him throw a pick, we praise McDermott for not being conservative and going for the kill shot. Since it didn’t work, he’s a moron. It’s all reactionary and based on the end result. So it gets pretty stupid at times. that said, SM does have a bad habit of not being able to close games and it is very worrisome. This was a knock on Reid so it can change (but Reid is such an offensive innovator).

Listen buddy. Covering sports is an extremely stressful job. You have to eat media buffet and you don’t always get to sit in first class. You think being a doctor, coal miner, or teacher is hard??? Haha, you wouldn’t last a day in the world of sports media!!!! True warriors!!!

Carolina might have had better overall weapons (McCaffery, Moore, Samuel -1st round pick, and crazy Robbie Anderson who has 2 900 + yard seasons).

Just curious: do you give Allen any blame for this? I’m a big point the finger at yourself before you point at other people. Allen is a legit star. But he was awful Monday and that wasn’t on Dorsey. You are right. I heard he got fired about 4 games but saw it was his second year, which feels better (also Dorsey like).

What? The teams are stupid and give losers like Pat Shurmur multiple chances because he is friends with the right people. Besides our game against them, their offense has been better than ours with chubby Sam Howell. Think about that.

Not really sure what is bad about bringing in fresh blood at this point. This team has plateaued.

I think he is one of the best coaches in the nfl but that is basically like getting McDermott on steroids. It’s spinning the wheel.

Daboll looks awful this year, cost them several games, and seems like he is going to have a heart attack every game. but there are worse ideas.

It’s hilarious people hate on EB without real reason. The Chiefs’’ offense has regressed tremendously without him and he has dollar general Baker Mayfield on pace for 5,000 yards. But clearly he has no idea about offense. I swear there are people on this board who hate certain types of qbs and coaches for very idiotic reasons. and McDermott isn’t getting fired. But EB and Ben Johnson should be the number 1 candidates.

Bills fans need to stop with the Mahomes-Allen comparisons at this point. It’s laughable. Imagine if the Bills traded Diggs away. Do we think Allen wins a MVP & SB? Mahomes is on a different level than almost any qb ever. mahomes has learned that your awesome arm isn’t all that you need to have to win games and take what the defense gives you. Allen is absolutely amazing but he still plays too much hero ball which puts this team in bad spots. I also know that’s what makes him great but our margin for error is so much smaller.

Haha, yeah. Now all we need are arguably the top 2 receivers in the nfl, a 1st round rb, and to play against college teams!!!! brady got fired after 4 games in the nfl. Huge difference between the nfl and college. By all accounts, he’s a good and charismatic guy. But you aren’t going to magically have a different offense. You need to call/ encourage Allen to run more, stop constant shotgun, giving up on your best rb early in games, and take shots. LSU has more offensive talent than most nfl teams had that year.

Still get to work with a top 3 qb. That should be attractive enough.
