  1. Because he doesn’t like his politics. That’s Rosen “character concerns.” He asks questions and speaks up on social issues. More problematic than Jeffrey Simmons or Tyrell Hill in some teams’ minds.
  2. If you paid $50 to go to Haskins draft party, you are a loser and don’t deserve that $50. I don’t get the Lock Hype. He is whatever to me but I could be wrong. Eh, I don’t get mad at a player for getting man. I’d be pissed if Jones got drafted ahead of me too. and I think Haskins can be really good even though Washington is a joke organization.
  3. I think the Fins are clear winners. Get a top 10 qb for a second rounder. Worse comes to worse, they draft a guy next year. I still think he can be very good and he got screwed. Either way, dude goes from LA to Phoenix to Miami. Not bad. He should be pissed.
  4. This is what makes no sense. If they came out at the same time, Rosen is ranked much higher than Jones. Now, he has a year of nfl experience. Plus, he might be cheaper because he went lower.
  5. And it’s funny that some fans act like they are experts because they are their position. I think it would be hard for anyone to have done worse than the Cards and Giants GMs.
  6. We were so concerned we just traded and paid Frank Clark.
  7. Stop trading up!
  8. Nah. We tried to get him and he fought coming here. If he wanted to be here, he would be here. I don’t know why they were pursuing that idiot in the first place. Everyone is tough on social media. Fans threaten athletes all the time. It’s embarrassing. Don’t post something you won’t say in person. If I was Clark, I’d call his bluff.
  9. If he was excited to come to Buffalo and accepted the trade and he was doing the same stuff, would you say this stuff if he was a Bill? Honest question.
  10. We still tried too. Culture.
  11. This dude is such a clown and I would put a lot of money on Clark. AB is a social media gangster:
  12. Didn’t Buffalo Bill kill them all?
  13. Yeah, he’s jumped the shark. There was a story going around that he actually wanted to draft Ryan Leaf but Jim Mora overruled him because he knew the Mannings. Polian should just enjoy retirement. He also was in a great situation. Inherited Kelly and got handed the 1 overall pick.
  14. I actually see your point on this. It seems like our guys and Gettleman all want a qb who is like Newton. In fact, Jones’ scouting report sounded like Allen’s - athletic, great size, not amazing production which some blamed on the team around him. That said, as many questions as I had about Allen, he was a top 10 pick on nearly everyone’s board. The Giants could have waited a lot long to get Jones. If they got josh Allen 2.0 and then got Jones later, people would feel a lot better about the pick. I saw this last night. I think Gettleman thought he was a Manning brother so he might be good.
  15. It definitely would have be an auto pick. But I think you are severely underrating Beane’ Jedi powers to make the Raiders and Giants make their picks.
  16. Flip side, I don’t remember a pick getting killed the way the Giants are for Jones. It has to be less than 5% of people liking the pick. I love Oliver but I think Allen is the best player in the draft. It’s crazy how many teams passed on him. Seems like a super mature and focused guy too.
  17. You’re right about Dareus and everyone hates him now, but he had HOF ability. It’s interesting because Oliver is undersized which could be great considering Buffalo food will fatten him up.
  18. I don’t think that’s the case at all. If you’re a team knowing they drafted Murray, why would you give them a high pick? That’s the situation they put themselves in. There’s no way they can keep Rosen because if he outplayed Murray, it would be a disaster for them. They need to trade him but every nfl team knows that. A guy named Rosen in Miami makes a lot of sense. I hope the Fins talk themselves into Lock, who I don’t think is that good. Honestly, why should he do anything to help him? He should force his way out AB style.
  19. Of course, it’s the Bills, Jets, and Fins copying each other while the Pats do the opposite. Honestly, it’s what the cards should do. But you can’t do that because what if Rosen outplays the other guy? Too much of a PR headache. But they are trading him when his value and their leverage is very low.
  20. Sadly, this is a great point. Sometimes with these big guys, Mike Williams comes to mind, I wonder if they love football or just play it because they are big and good. A guy like this makes me real nervous. I’d rather have an undersized guy than one who can’t control his weight in college.
  21. No offense, but why do we always have to do this? Been happy with the pick but knock another player? And if Oliver has close to the start of his career than Dareus did, he will be amazing. I think people underestimate how good Dareus was before he got paid.
  22. I try not to overreact to a 1st qb but man, this guy seems like a disaster. OBJ is an idiot but why do you sign him to take a cap hit? Why do you let Collins walk and then trade for a player who is a lesser version of him? Why do you take a qb #6 overall who could have been there in the 2nd or later? Why not just trade a 2nd or 3rd for Rosen, who IMO would have been the 2nd QB in this class? A funny line line I heard was Jones looks like the guy cast to play Eli Manning in a movie about Peyton Manning.
