Strong take haha. I’m sure every fan base has a player they feel that way about. The Eagles had a backup cb who got murdered by Adams on Thursday. He was really bad.

Did Jonathan Jones purposely take out Josh Allen?
C.Biscuit97 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s awful to play defense in the nfl. With the way Allen was playing, folks really think the Pats wanted him out? It ended up being a dirty hit but it looks a million times worse in slow motion. It’s a physical game and dude is flying to make a play. I don’t believe that was his intention and he should be fined. But thats the danger in running the ball for a qb. It also seems like some karma from some “fans” who wished injury on other players on this board. -
My only counter to that would be is Allen benefits from one of the best defenses in the nfl. Allen would have much worse W/L if Arizona drafted him. Allen gets more chances to “win” games because the D is awesome (?). Thats what makes what Mahomes is doing even more amazing. His defense is terrible and he just lights up the scoreboard to overcome them. I don’t want our defense to give up points but I’d love to see a game where Allen wins a shootout against a good qb.

Tom Brady looks and sounds “checked out” to me
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He’s 42, won 6 SBs, just beat the Bills like always, and played awful. Literally, I don’t think he really cares and it’s all about the playoffs at this point of his career. He’s on autopilot and trying not to get hurt. -
I don’t hate the guy. He belongs on a nfl roster. But when you trade up for a guy in the 2nd and pass on JuJu and Cooper Kupp, it looks terrible to see how unproductive Zay is. He has no elite skills. He is a dime a dozen NFL receiver who was drafted by us because his college coach was on the Bills.

I think it was stupid how early we gave up on EJ. You draft a guy in the 1st, you need to ride with him. I think Allen is a lot closer to EJ than Tom Brady at this point. that said, a big part of EJ’s problem was he played like a robot. Allen, who I have been critical of, lays it all on the line and goes down firing. I respect that.

Will offense operate better with Barkley next week?
C.Biscuit97 replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m just amazed that some people have convinced themselves that Barkley isn’t anything but a journeyman. There’s a reason he has a 68 qb rating. that said, he is probably better at reading the field and making quick decisions than Allen. -

This has happened to Cam Newton like 20 times in his career. It’s why running should never be a franchise qb’s best skill. Look at Newton now. Allen simply needs to become a better pocket passer. I love his guts and toughness but he will not last doing this. -
Does AB set a dangerous precedent?
C.Biscuit97 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s much harder to do it in football but you are right. As entertaining as it is, it does kill the small market teams. at the same point, this is the same league that cuts you when you get hurt and doesn’t owe you anything. They need to something fast about the CBa. -
Michael Robinson on GMFB bold prediction (Bills)

Man, I really like Michael Robinson. He is awesome at his job! -
Could you imagine the ego blow to AB if they did that?

Antonio Brown RELEASED, signed by PATS
C.Biscuit97 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Obviously, a stable AB is a huge get. But they win the SB with scrub receivers. That’s the situation he’s walking into and why it’s different than Buffalo and Oakland. They don’t need him to own and they have proven that over and over again sadly. -

I completely agree here. People like that give Bills fans a bad name. It’s a game. -

He won’t have been. That’s why it was crazy going after him in the first place. It could have been worse than Oakland here. So it worked out. but we still badly need a number 1. NE is the only place in the league that AB “might” be ok in. Because they don’t need him. -

Solid points. I guess the NFL should at least investigate but I think it will be hard to prove. Literally everyone though he would be a Pat eventually. -

Don’t forget the dynasty started with the tuck rule against the raiders. The Pats have bent them over. -

Have you ever played football? Threats happen every single snap and Every locker room. -

Other teams could have signed him. I really don’t get why people get upset by this. -

I mean, did you think they weren’t going to beat us twice? I just pray he’s really crazy and destroys that lockerroom from the inside. -

In theory, the same thing could happen in Buffalo. Just need an all time great qb. -

What were they supposed to do? Let him keep doing dumb things? They were dumb for trading for him and giving him a contract in the first place.
