  1. TLDR. Wow. That’s sad. I’d really like to have him back.
  2. This thread is overblown. Parsons has an ego. Its not unlike any other big time LB. He is not a character concern from what i have seen watching him the last 3-4 years. I wouldn't hesitate to draft him at 30. And if Oweh goes above him - that is a crime. IMO Oweh will be a bust. Parsons has a floor around Trumane Edmonds and a high somewhere around Navarro Bowman. You do that at 30. There is no substantiation of any claim by Isiah Humphries. His claims have been rejected twice by the courts. I'd want a lot more before we drag him through the mud. He didnt play this season. Many players didnt. I feel jipped as he would have been fun to watch. Some of his social media posts critical of the teams play were hard to swallow. But the team and coaches still love him. I wouldnt trade up to get him. But if im in the 12-15 range - you take him. and at 30...its a no-brainer.
  3. The NFL has to find a way to get more exposure out of their games. I can watch virtually any College game I want to each weekend - especially if they are a major ACC, SEC or BIG10 team. I havent missed a Penn State game in 10 years. The NFL needs that capability to reach a broader audience. Every game should be on TV or readily available. ESPN, CBS, Google, Amazon, NFL Network, ABC, FOX - put everygame on TV. I dont see why in 2021 that the business deal the NFL has with DIRECTV is in their best interests.
  4. I'm a Penn State homer...so take it for what thats worth...but im not 100% sold on Parsons. I know thats kinda controversial in my blue and white world- but he came in with great potential, displayed it a few times - enough to put some film up, didnt play this year, and has moderate potential to be a diva. His on field performance (save a bowl game and a couple other games where he was phonominal) didnt live up to his hype. I'd be happy with him, and i get the hype...but he is moderate to high risk/high reward in my opinion. Let someone else take the risk with this kid. And Jayson Oweh...give me a break. A ton of talent, but guy did not produce this year. Smart to come out this year because another year like this one he could go undrafted. Stay away unless you can get him in the 3rd-4th round somehow. Aaron Maybin is my projection for him ...
  5. Another reason to draft Friermuth!
  6. Of all our FA's - he is the guy we need most from a gap assessment look. Speed is what this team is lacking, and he provided that in spades. Lets keep him around!
  7. They just need a sacrificial Head Coach for 2-3 years. Gotta climb out of this mess with time...
  8. Probably discussed elsewhere...but I wonder if him being in the box causes him to not fully appreciate the on field conditions.
  9. You sure that’s not tosh? Never noticed how they looked alike and have similar mannerisms
  10. As much as I want him back - I have a hard time celebrating this. I don’t want us to succeed because others aren’t. I hope pegula gives him a raise to thank him and ease the pain a bit. He has to be disappointed - and I don’t want our team or coaches in that mindset.
  11. Only problem is we have no running game now...but gotta burn some clock.
  12. ok....cant get conservative - but also dont need hero ball josh...slow and steady. 6 yard passes...come on!
  13. So...Buffalo IS moving to Los Angeles after all???
  14. Well...I’m just happy we’re having a not-too-crazy debate over whether or not our QB is as good as aaron Rodgers. i don’t even care if he is. Just to be under consideration without much embellishment is good enough! that said - josh is his own worst enemy at times. Gotta better understand the game situation. Protect the ball when necessary. Stop being a hero and fumbling when it’s not necessary. That’s the only flaw in his game.
  15. We need a back this off-season. We don’t have a guy who is going to break a 50 yard run. Moss is decent as a short yardage/time eating kind of back. Singletary is a replacement level guy. I hate spending a first rounder on a back - so maybe we need to look in round 2/3 again. But we need someone with speed to break a few of these runs and ourrun a defense once in a while.
  16. Tough kick to call..but you need your kicker to come through like that in the playoffs...BIG TIME kick.
  17. Missed your chance. Shoulda drafted him. Pat Friermuth is pretty damn good too....find a way to get him in Rd 2.
