The other factoid I like is the 2006 draft. At one point 5 of the top 10 picks played for the bills - including 1,2 and 3. That very hyped draft was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. If you redrafted today - Kyle Williams would possibly be a top 10 pick.

Ya know - it would hurt. But anyone who has ever managed people will know that your greatest legacy is having your top talent go - and be successful on their own. Then backfilling them with another high talented person. Thats the point we're at here. And thats awesome! This type of attrition is going to happen. Embrace it. The alternative is nobody is interested in our staff. I'd rather have this problem. That means we can attract the best too.

I wouldnt count Brees to Rivers. Brees was awful early in San Diego. they drafted Rivers to replace him because Brees was not good. Obviously his career turned around, but that wasnt the thinking at the time.

Just puts defenses on their toes. If your Pittsburgh or something watching this - you have to protect the run and the trick plays...and allen running...which just might allow allen to hit some deep throws. I dont know what is real here - but from what i read on this thread - the key is "after losing contact" he cant go more than one yard. If he drove a guy 10 yards down the field - then lost contact, he can stay there all day and be legit - per what i read here. He just cant go more than one more yard.

People talking about a forfeit is ridiculous. Talk about incentivizing a team to sweep positive results under the carpet!
