  1. Because he was able to do that against truly inferior opponents at BYU. During his last year at BYU, they played this schedule: Navy, Troy, LA Tech, UTSA, Houston, Texas State, Western Kentucky, Boise, North Alabama, Coastal Carolina, SDSU In all but 2 of those games, BYU had a crazy roster advantage, especially when it came to their WRs vs opposing DBs and in the trenches. He threw to the most open WRs in college football that season and was barely touched behind their line. I laughed so hard when he and Trey Lance went ahead of Fields, and it's going to be fun watching them put together a great defense for a few years and never compete because their QB situation is a complete joke.
  2. Wilson is trash. He did this his senior year at BYU when they played absolutely nobody and had a massive advantage at WR compared to the DBs they played. When he holds the ball for more than 2.7s he completes 19% of his passes. It’s actually comical just how bad he is
  3. The Giants have been one of the two luckiest teams in the NFL. They’re not good but they play hard.
  4. The underlying metrics for the Vikings are pretty meh.
  5. He's so ***** overrated and they're negotiating a long term deal while giving up a first. This is a win for the Bills.
  6. So this is based on the record of the teams in the league right now which isn't the way to really look at this. You need to project out the true talent of the remaining teams on the schedule and not what they've done in fluky wins or losses. Based ROS projections I have the Bills facing the 18th hardest schedule (.498 average remaining Win%) going forward and the Chiefs the 21st (.491). Both teams, barring resting starters in week 18 or an injury to either QB, will be pretty heavy favorites in every game the rest of the season.
  7. The offense was out of sync the entire second half but the defense was so good it turned the Packers into a service academy offense and still won by 10. Kinda nuts.
  8. They’re dominating the game for sure but josh has looked confused tonight. Gabe dropping everything thrown to him doesn’t help either. Just sloppy all around on offense.
  9. They’re playing like absolute dog**** tonight on offense.
  10. What's going to blow your mind is when there are a portion of fans who still aren't happy.
  11. I think I can answer this one... I grew up a Bills, Sabres and Cubs fan thanks to my parents bringing me up in a sports abuse household. My job is basically analytics, probabillities and market projections and I even do my own sports projections (for entertainment purposes only since I live in Texas). But, by 2016 I'd never seen ANY of my favorite teams win anything. The closest thing I had was the 4 Super Bowl losses and No Goal as the pinnacle of my fandom. However, in 2016 my numbers, Vegas betting lines and the overall mood of the baseball world was the Cubs were a juggernaut and odds on favorites to win the World Series, even though the probability was about 17%. So, watching that team, I missed maybe 2 games that year, was almost painful because of the weight of expectations that I'd never ever had before in my life and I had no idea how to handle it. I scrutinized every little thing that would go wrong, even though there was nothing that pointed to that team being anything but dominant. My whole world is numbers and the logic of math, and I was the most illogical person ever during that season, and the playoff were even worse. When the Cubs finally won that World Series it completely changed how I watched sports. I still get nervous and anxious, especially about the Bills, but it's not crippling like it was in 16, which is ridiculous to even thing about since I watched them 180 times. What I think is happening with Bills doom boners is that we've never had a team like this. The Kelly teams were never this good, I don't care what anyone says, it's just the truth. The fans are having a hard time not expecting the worst, especially because reaching the playoffs is almost a foregone conclusion, which is all many of us wanted to see and looked forward to every year until we got there. The weight of the expectations and the idea that winning the Super Bowl isn't easy and everything we've had let us down as fans the past 30 years makes a lot of people really anxious. I mean I still get anxious about Josh Allen even though I know if he's not the best QB in football he's the second best. If this team wins the Super Bowl I really hope the fans stay awesome, because that title turned 90% of Cubs fans (real fans not the people who started watching in October) into completely insufferable #######s. PS - Got the Bills at 30.5% to win the Super Bowl at this point in the year and Chiefs are 2nd at 16.4%.
  12. I think they’re having the problem they had with the prime Patriots*. It’s almost impossible for them to hang a number that won’t get bet.
  13. Part of this is because they’re losing and they’ve faced well below average QB’s.
  14. Didn’t read all the posts but Josh Allen is going to make a lot of OC’s rich. He is the single most important decision the franchise has ever made. I love Daboll but Josh Allen is the reason this team is setup to make multiple Super Bowl runs.
  15. The Bears taking a knee on the goal line is more insulting than them running it in for 40
  16. Yeah that Western Kentucky QB is really outplaying the the five star guy from Ohio State.
  17. If you're a skill position player and the Bears draft you, you'd be sad too.
