Watson has a little too much “hold on to the ball too long- itis”. That being said he seems to be more the productive passer over Josh. Just takes too many sacks
I was in the 2nd row of the upper deck on about the 45 yard line,,,by myself, with all Giants fans around me. My immediate reaction was one of extreme anger.
Big deal. Some of the important starters may Only play a series, a quarter or a half. They can get hurt in practice too. The only ones I would sit for sure or play very sparingly are Tre, Singletary and possibly Milano.
I heard an interview on DC radio A few weeks ago with one of Lorax’s old Redskins buddies. He said that this is Lorenzo’s final season. He will retire to spend more time raising his kids and will move to the warmth of Arizona. He was very sure and said Zo is looking forward to life after football. So I would say just enjoy these final few games of a great veteran playing career.
im glad you included Allen’s rushing yards too. So many analysts blow off his rushing yards and TDs when talking about him as a quarterback. Well all those yards and TDs are just as important whether he runs em or throws em.
Trubisky throws a really flat deep ball, kinda like what we’ve seen from Allen this year (except for yesterday to Brown). That no trajectory pass is often overthrown.
I gotta say... Daniel Jones and Haskins both look much improved.. awareness, confidence and accuracy.
Duck Hodges era is coming to an end. Another poor interception thrown when Stillers were driving
true yesterday but he’s not always ultra conservative. NE has a great defense.
Early and midway through the season they were going on plenty of 4th and shorts.. and made a couple and got stuffed on several. He also passed up a couple field goal chances earlier in the season and we failed on the 4th down conversions. Dumb IMO when it’s not late in the game. You take the points
I think he will last. Stuff like the end of the game was concerning though. 4 plays to score and go backwards. Can’t do that. Need more awareness. As McDermott said..the final series inside the 10 was not professional.
Once he starts running and gets whacked a few times he seems to loosen up and play better. Not designed runs... but when he scramble out of the pocket away from pressure.
Im Mostly disappointed because every team in the NFL gets their “signature” win against the Pats. This year the Ravens, Chiefs and Texans all got em. But Buffalo can never beat Brady and Belichek’s defenses have owned Buffalo since Super Bowl 25. Just tired of it.
We’re 10-5 and in the playoffs. No need to make wholesale changes here. I don’t like all the calls either but sometimes the O and QB have to execute when stuff is open.
Can we ever run screen passes to Knox like the Rams just ran to Higbee? It’s so perfect and Knox is an athlete. Give Josh some short easy wide open throws.
I think he’s fine. I hated early in the year when McD would pass on an easy FG and go for the 4th down only to be stuffed. It’s the NFL don’t take chances like that on your side of the field and don’t pass up easy points in early portions of games
I don’t buy that. McD, the coaching staff, The players, Beane, The Pegulas... they all wanted this game badly. They wanted nothing more than to start the changing of the guard.
As much as it pains me, I was impressed that NE controlled the trenches today for the most part. They don’t have the scary offense they used to have but their O and D linemen play strong.
the entire offense roster of skill players is a bit perplexing and lacking. It’s Allen, Dev, Brown... with some Beasley and Knox mixed in a bit. But then I look at NE and they don’t have much going on either . KC and Baltimore have so many skilled guys on O.
