  1. I thought it was interesting in post-game when Bass said his maximum distance in that direction was 59 yards,, (with wind?) and the other direction was 57 yards. Now i find that amazing since the 57 yard direction would have been against the wind, no? Maybe it was a pure cross wind on Sunday, I couldn't tell. But the dude has some ridiculous range. And he's young. The leg still might get stronger.
  2. Miami has to feel somewhat like Buffalo did all those years trying to beat the Pats and Brady. How do they beat Josh Allen? It has to be frustrating as hell for their fans too. But I love it.
  3. Oh my, Miami could steal this game right at the end. And we are the worst at defending 2 point conversions
  4. It’s good to have respect for the opponent. it’s NFL football, not Georgia vs. Norfolk St. I think the Bills win, but i also think Miami comes to play. Like the OP said, they have to be sick of hearing how much JA owns them and how much they suck. Miami actually has some talent, they have underachieved massively so far.
  5. My takeaway, at the end both teams went for the knockout punch. Green Bay went for 4th and goal to put the game out of reach and Failed. Arizona, in chip shot FG range threw the ball. INT, Fail. Buffalo went for it late at Tenn. Fail. I'm just too much of an old school guy. Sometimes take the FG and allow your entire team to win a game, instead of one play. Defenses really dig in on these all or nothing plays. I don't care what the analytics say, it's not always the best call to take the risky play.
  6. The Mannings are back a week too late.
  7. Even when the Bills stunk and the Patriots were dominant all those years we still gave them a decent game every once in a while. I feel like Miami is going to really dig in for this one. There's only so many times that the Fish and Brian Flores care to be embarrassed by Buffalo. I hope the Bills coming out of the bye week aren't complacent. It's the NFL and i think Miami will be tough this Sunday.
  8. Very solid win by the Colts... especially being a dome team in weather. Indy was not going to allow another 4th Qtr meltdown like they did vs. Baltimore. They took control in the 4th.
  9. Yeah, probably. But he didn’t convert and Bills lost head to head. And then Tenn comes out and kills KC worse than we did. So for tonight, Tennessee gets ranked ahead of Buf.
  10. Heinicke’s knee touched just before ball crossed the goaline. That killed the play. He should’ve just stayed in on his feet and ran to the pylon, easy TD….OR he could’ve dove in headfirst before touching his knee. He’s been criticized for absorbing too much contact and was just trying to play it safe and not get hit. I guarantee he will never do that again.
  11. important AFC games are done for the week. My top 5 AFC as of Sunday night. Tennessee Buffalo Cincinnati Baltimore LA Chargers I want to put Cleveland in there but i can’t with Mayfield out. and the Chargers edged them head to head. Seems weird with no KC in there.
  12. The game just shows once again that when you play a decent/good opponent, the difference between winning and losing is razor thin. A play here and there... - an inaccurate throw to an open receiver - an edge rushing defender getting a hand on a Josh throw - a very costly special teams penalty - a first and goal overturned - a failed 4th down conversion We had a bunch of plays in the Bills favor too, but just one too many going Tennessee's way.
  13. The Bills play good football on the road so I wouldn't be that concerned if they are #2. I'd rather be #1 but think they can fulfill all their goals being #2.
  14. Most people know the window is open “Now”. next season is an entirely new deal and the team as a whole may not be as good. So i can see why fans are being fanatical about Josh, etc. Get the home field and win this thing. This Year.
  15. Walking to the stadium it felt like a 50/50 split because every Bills fan wears the team colors. But when the place was full and those big moments came for Tennessee fans to make noise you could tell it was maybe 35%-40% Bills fans. which is still 25,000+ Buffalo fans and a ridiculous number for a road game. I was talking to a Tenn season ticket holder and he said the only other time he’s ever seen anything like it was when New England was great. They’d bring a ton of fans.
  16. I was in the stadium, and the vibe and energy i felt in that place dictated a FG. and i told the people i was with, just kick it and get to OT. Don’t screw around. The Titans fans were whipped into a frenzy and you just felt we were going to be pushed back. I don’t care about analytics. McD needed to have a feel there. It’s not like we are Alabama going against Vanderbilt here and Buf will impose their will. I thought it was an arrogant decision and if the Bills fail to earn home field we can look back to this decision. Sometimes the way NFL decisions have been made for years (kicking it) are done that way because it’s the better way to go.
  17. Yep, you got it. People need to understand that Nick Wright does schtick for TV. Like Stephen A. the whole successful recipe is to be a provocateur on TV. Take a side, be opinionated. If Nick towed the company line that Buffalo should be #1 in every poll it wouldn't be much fun for him or his ratings. He's got Dallas up there as his #1 favorite today.. That makes for arguments, debate and ratings I guess.
  18. Well, most lists have the Bills ranked #1 in the NFL right now so they must be doing something right. The whole key to this thing is obviously to play their best ball in Jan/Feb... to do that the Bills (or any playoff team) needs a dash of luck AND to steer clear of major injuries to key players.
  19. The prime time games this year have been goofy. in a good way.
  20. this is the kind of Lamar game where ownership says, we can’t automatically pay this guy $250M or whatever. we just can’t. i dunno. i bet some Ravens boards are going bananas.
  21. That's what i was thinking too. KC and Tenn back to back. Very rare that the recent Buffalo Bills has the revenge factor in both games. So on to Tennessee. I think we pay the Titans back for that embarrassment last year. Then I can see a bit of a letdown after the bye week....maybe not losses, but emotional letdowns compared to KC and Tenn.
  22. with the chiefs selling out to rush Allen, there has to be something open. something Daboll can call to burn them
  23. Stop the prevent defense. it’s allowing too many chunk plays
  24. Offense stinks this half. no flow. letting KCs defense dictate everything we do
  25. Taron should not be hurt because the dang Defense should have been OFF the field!
