Quite honestly, the best teams have players on the roster where the game plan can be flexible week to week. If you want to pound it and be physical, make sure we have those players. If we need to pass let’s make sure we’re covered there. We have the QB and receivers. This club lacks the running game and attitude. D was improving, I thought they were going to be a nasty physical unit but even they are starting to seem finesse.

We are absolutely going to get bullied and get our a$$es kicked by the Saints on "Drew Brees Night" in New Orleans. Philly just ran for 242 yards on the Saints D. They won't allow anything like that to happen against them again. I can't see the Bills offense moving the ball well at all.

They got roasted on ESPN's Get Up as well. The team is too Josh Allen-centric. No physicality, one dimensional, built their record on soft schedule, etc.. And what's the deal with the D? You go into games against Tennessee and Indy knowing you have to stop Henry and Taylor. What happens? our D gives up career games to both of them. Absurd.

We had that ridiculous points differential for a 6-3 record, and yesterday was like a market correction. You knew that somewhere along the way, that differential would get closer to what the norm should be.

Every national show this morning is ripping the Buffalo offense. Saying all the same things. The offense is one-dimensional and completely finesse. No physicality whatsoever. Teams game plan to make the opponent one dimensional and the Bills do it themselves and make it so easy for opposing defense.

and the Buffalo Bills are a team that no longer has expectations pinned to them. They have become the hunter (for a playoff spot and division lead) instead of being the hunted. Good Luck Bills, and may this serve you well.

Houston and SF made it look pretty easy today. Winning in the two stadiums where the Bills AFC East hopes took a nose dive.
-
I’d rather have our guy, Frank Reich.

Al said it was 60/40 Steelers fans. Chargers and Raiders don’t seem to have any real home field advantage. All opposing fan bases want to take their one road trip to Vegas or LA. Easy tickets to get.
-
McDermott is on my hot seat list. He should be. They were out coached and out schemed today badly. That’s on him. He’s a nice guy, maybe too nice. This team needs to be whipped into a tougher squad. They are weak.

I’ve said it for 40 years. Buffalo sports teams exist to bring happiness to other teams fan bases. That’s what we do.

As i said in another thread. May be more appropriate here. No team that gets dominated like that in a big game, at home, will be a threat to win the Super bowl. That dream has died today. Buf might still be able to sneak in as a wild card but it’s hard to tell. If they lose to the Saints then no. If they beat the Saints then they Need to at least split with NE. Too may other AFC teams have 6-7 wins already.

I will say this in summation. No team that gets dominated like that in a big game, at home, will be a threat to win the Super bowl. That dream has died today. They might still be able to sneak in as a wild card but not sure. Too may other AFC teams have 6-7 wins already. -
Ah man. Ravens gonna pull another W from the jaws of defeat.

Houston and the 49ers taking care of business where the Bills couldn’t -
Last time we played Wentz here it was wet and windy. He was with Philly and they killed the Bills. Wentz played better than Allen in it. Hopefully that won't be the case this time around.

Need to stack some wins. That's all that matters. Just win or else it's New England's division again.

Spencer Brown placed on Covid List [Edit: Thurs 11/18]
zow2 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
It stinks if Brown misses the game but i am confident the replacement will step up to the challenge. I'm sure the Bills learned a lot from that JAX game and made changes to the offense last week as well. -
I remember seeing the arm live for the first time at Baltimore. His first game action ever when the Bills were getting blown out. He made one sideline out pass and it just looked different than Flacco or anyone one else. Had so much zing to it. I always remember that pass for some reason as the Josh Allen era began.

The fumbling will be an issue. McDermott won't trust Breida in critical situations to carry the rock out of the backfield unless he cleans that up.

What the Ravens loss (and many other bad losses) should teach us
zow2 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills losses this year have been close games. Close games usually come down to 1 huge play. Pittsburgh, Tennessee and Jacksonville all made the big plays in the 2nd half to close it out. There will be more close games. It would be nice to see Buffalo make the big play at the end to flip the game into a W.
