  1. Why? Seriously. He’s a good story - paired with Gase, he floundered, but we all know how bad Gase is now. In a better situation, he’s showing why he was drafted so high.
  2. Tannehill since coming to TN has been one of the three best QBs in the NFL. He is way beyond “competent” at this point.
  3. No one can consistently rush the passer. No one to fear. Mind you, holding is out of control across the league and affecting every team.
  4. I think it’s more that the better team won. It’s not complicated.
  5. I still think the lack of a real pass rush is the key problem. Yes, the secondary sucked, but that can at least be explained by injury.
  6. No holding is being called this year.
  7. Honestly, he’s still pretty good. He’d be an upgrade, but not a process guy.
  8. ? - it was 100 percent a low, illegal hit.
  9. The funny thing about fitz is that i think he’s a measurably better player now. Still streaky, of course.
  10. Yes. The Bills were always goong to lose at least three games and possibly six given the brutal schedule.
  11. No, they are pro-the better team. The Bills look like crap.
  12. Someone here said Saturday (Yolo, I think? Can't recall and I'm not looking it up). Anyway, whether it was Thursday or Saturday is utterly irrelevant. I didn't know, and I was alarmed by the inactive list. I overreacted. It's not like I'm constantly churning out conspiracy theories here, man!
  13. How many times do I have to say "I was wrong" or "I was overspeculating" or "my bad"? Do I have to do a metaphorical walk of shame here? Christ.
  14. As I said literally five times above, I did not know about the knee until about a half hour ago. I was being challenged by Hapless for not accounting for the previous calf issue and it's effect on his practice participation. The knee thing apparently happened on Saturday. Sheesh. And I'll man up and admit that I'm not the sort of person who spends his time reading the practice participation tea leaves. No offense to those who do, of course. They are valuable contributors to the board.
  15. Hope he has learned to consistently catch and hold onto the ball. The talent is there, but those weaknesses are maddening.
  16. As I said above, he played very well the previous week despite the previous calf injury. I figured that was minor and wouldn't stop him. A lot of guys are on injury reports over multiple weeks but always play.
  17. As I said three times above, I missed it. I will confess to not following the practice sessions like some here and assumed that since he played well the previous week he'd be fine. Didn't know about the knee. I had things to do this weekend and can't keep on track of every in and out of player participation at practices.
  18. I said that because of John Brown, but I didn't know he was hurt. He does have sickle cell trait, btw, and that's a disease in which there is weak oxygenation of the blood. But again, I didn't know he got dinged. I was overspeculating.
  19. I agree, but look at the situation. The Bills don't know who's coming off the TN COVID list or not right up until game time, they've been waiting around for a couple of days for the next COVID shoe to drop (which didn't happen), they've had two games moved to accommodate a team that appeared to break every rule (and bear in mind that NFL coaches are INTENSELY focused on scheduling regularity/predictability), and TN has had 16 days to prepare, at least with regard to film analysis. It sucks for the Bills, basically, but they do have to go out and play. I agree about that.
  20. I am up 80.5-80.2 and my opponent has the Bills D left to play. I have ... Zack Moss, who I started because it looked like he was going to play. Oh well.
  21. You honestly think the Bills are happy about this situation? I think the Bills have handled it well overall because they're a well-run organization, but let's not pretend people are happy about this.
