  1. On that replay i saw ford get rolled up on his leg. Not good.
  2. I Think that was poyer’s assignment.
  3. Buck - my god. He just said diggs is now doing the short stuff In buffalo when he was basically a deep guy in minnesota. 2 years ago, diggs had 102 catches and averaged 10.0 yards per catch. In 2016, he had 84 catches and averaged 10.8 ypc.
  4. ? - he got diggs open on an easy td pass. Allen missed the throw.
  5. Man, that may have been the worst defensive series of the year. All their flaws were on display.
  6. But the previous overthrow to a wide open Diggs was not good. That should have been an easy six.
  7. I love this story and would never have seen it if it started on the off the wall page. Not sure why there was a decision to close it down on the main page. Anyway, i am glad it started out on the main page for at least a little while so that I could become aware of it. I sent the link to lots of friends and family and it brought joy into their lives because it’s, ahem, actually Bills-related. And thanks, @MAJBobby, for posting it here, even though I would never have seen it 🙂.
  8. Kinda disagree. I actually think he has improved as a player since his time in Buffalo. He is better at diagnosing defenses quickly than he was 8 years ago (yes, it's been that long). He has limitations and will throw picks, but he's probably a top 15 qb right now. He has his highest QBR ever this season if you believe in that stat: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FitzRy00.htm.
  9. Call me crazy, but I think the Dolphins are a borderline WC team this year. They are a scary team to play. They can score and they are well coached.
  10. Healthy scratch in the SB.
  11. It's less about what he has and hasn't done than what his talent is. In game one vs. the Bills, he was the best back on the field before getting hurt on a play that would have been a td if not for the interference by Klein. I don't think people realize how impossible the situation is in Jets land right now.
  12. Oh, understood. I'm just saying his absence made a difference, at least with regard to that aspect of the game.
  13. You're forgetting the fourth game in that sequence: the Patriots. Also: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/10/15/bill-belichick-passes-on-leveon-bell-question/.
  14. As it happens, in each of the past four games, the Bills ran the ball on their first play, and vs. Miami the first two plays were handoffs to Singletary.
  15. No, there's no way I'm admitting it was a bad game plan specifically because they "emphasized" the run on only the first two plays of the game. Come on. It's just two plays.
  16. Turns out they had no chance vs. TN without those guys either. That was a legit blowout.
  17. Why is the KC game more important than the TN game? Both are likely to win their divisions and be in competition with the Bills for a home game.
  18. The vegan cinnamon one.
  19. They should have been at the 45 yard line after 3 plays. That's not bad! Unfortunately a non-receiver playing receiver was the target of the play.
  20. The Titans were playing coverage from the get-go with a cover-two shell. You should be able to run against that type of defense with ease, particularly given that they had been giving up 5.8 yards per rush going into that game. Tuesday the Bills found out that they are in fact a really bad rushing team. Hence the pursuit of Bell, a significant upgrade over what they have. If they don't get Bell, I won't be surprised if we see more of Yeldon going forward given that he's actually a good receiver.
  21. Or ... he's simply never met him.
  22. Bell is a lot better than both of those guys and an elite receiver. Damn. As I said above, he is still an elite receiver. Also, remember Corey Dillon, who had 1,635 rushing yards in 2004.
  23. I am going to challenge you here. The LAST thing Daboll wanted was 12-play drives. Watch the Simms video that Thurman posted. The big plays just weren’t there given the scheme TN was running.
  24. Man is Simms down the Bills’ RBs and running game in general. Indeed, after the game, McDermott basically said it was terrible that they couldn’t run better than they did against a D playing coverage/cover 2 all night. I wonder if we suffer from the illusion of Singletary being good rather than a mere change of pace back who is quick but not fast in space. There are a lot of negative plays with him and he is not fast enough to break really long runs.
