  1. You sign Bradberry when he gets inevitably cut by the Giants.
  2. He went out of his way at the press conference to defend the agent there too.
  3. Don't forget Beane in his press conference said they were just under with his calculation but he wasn't sure of what had already been reported as a done deal, so this and the 2 QB moves were likely already factored into that comment. I would say there are maybe 7 solid day 1 starters and probably 4-5 of them will be gone before 25. 6-7 are solid players with size limitations (sub 6 footers). I think there are good CBs available all the way through Rd 3 who could turn into really good players, but those are more projections and we'd likely be better served starting Dane Jackson over them immediately, so they present an immediate help. Rd 1 probables: Stingley, Gardner, McDuffie, Booth, Elam Rd 1 probables: Gordon, McCreary Several people I follow on Twitter agree with this reading of the tea leaves. If we can do it, I would. Nothing wrong with having a Rd 1-2 rookie play CB2 for a couple weeks if needed to spell Tre while coming back from injury. I just want him to be solid for the post-season and going forward.
  4. He is sooo pissed at WAS. He went out of his way to defend the agent and point out that the other club was the problem. I did appreciate the "oh yeah I'll get over that real quick" joke.
  5. Whaley is not a leader of men. He was good in charge of pro scouting, but that's as high as he should ever get.
  6. He's always great on the show. Really enjoyed it.
  7. That's why I like Stout a little more for us, he's a bit better at directional punting. I don't know why people turn their noses up at punters, they are legit weapons in controlling field position.
  8. Don't really care. 20+ accusations is enough to tell me that it's more likely than not that he is not a person I want to root for. Do you know how hard it is to get a criminal conviction for a crime with no physical evidence and based mostly on anecdotal evidence, I doubt it.
  9. I wouldn't root for him as my QB, makes sense.
  10. I need to see more of these
  11. Well the goal is always to develop from within
  12. Was not done as a post June 1 so we eat the hit this year and only save 1.5 - Beane trying to pump the brakes on kicking the can down the road on dead cap.
  13. I mean he has a choice. If he wants to go play for that cesspool, then F him.
  14. People in this thread are acting like Phillips and Shaq signed for 10M apiece. The top 2 most productive DL we had in 2019 just came back on what are likely small 1 yr contracts as depth, this is not only great indication that the team is a place people miss when they leave, it shows how far we have come in regards to talent.
  15. Most Mocks I have seen have him going in the 2nd.
  16. People here are legitimately debating Epenesa vs Hughes
  17. A little less, I said by the end of round 2. I expect Stingley, Gardner, McDuffie, Booth, Elam to be gone in rd 1. I expect Gordon, Woolen, McCreary gone in rd 2. Agreed, I think CB needs to be the pick in Rd 1 unless we get a solid starter in FA, it's the biggest hole on the team by far now. At 25 you're probably looking at Elam or Gordon and they would both be a little but overdrafted there. Most of the mocks I'm looking at have CBs going in the 11-20 range.
  18. I see maybe 7-8 CBs that are day 1 starters. I expect them all to be gone by rd 2. There are others who could develop into starters but I don't think should be rushed. I'd move up to the late teens for a CB. The ones available around 25 are good players who are slightly shorter than I'd like.
  19. This bums me out, I really like Bease. Sounds like it was his choice though.
  20. Haack is terrible. In the rare event when we need to punt it would be great to actually play the field position game and not hang our D out to dry. I wanted to create a place where we could actually look at prospect beyond arguing about what round Araiza is going in. Here's some info, feel free to post links if you have anything to say about the topic! https://bnbfootball.com/2022-rankings/punter/ https://www.draftcountdown.com/rankings/2022-nfl-draft-p-rankings-shane/ https://www.nfl.com/combine/tracker/live-results/40-yards-dash/spec/all-colleges/ Three punters were invited to the combine, above is a blurb about punters in the draft this year. Matt Araiza - SDSU https://www.nfl.com/prospects/matt-araiza/32004152-4131-7575-504d-a8b693e6a7b6 Jordan Stout - Penn State https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jordan-stout/32005354-4f72-7243-90d9-b44242223591 Jake Camarda - Georgia https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jake-camarda/32004341-4d01-3278-6483-bc919efd064d Stout and Araiza are batting for #1. Araiza has the one of the biggest legs ever, Stout has a big leg is supposedly a little more consistent. Camarda is supposed to be the best technician of the three an has solid leg strength but had a down season this year. Puntalytics is a pretty knowledgeable place to find info about current NLF punters. Heres is what they have to say about this year's FAs, you can click on the tweet to see the rest of the tiers. If it came down to a vet I'd look at Hekker first, then Anger. I'd personally rather just draft Stout and save the money signing a legit punter would cost. Araiza is likely to go in the 3rd-4th and Stout should go sometime after that since people are in love with Araiza's distance. IMO draft Stout in the 5th-6th.
  21. I just want Von and Ed Oliver to ride horses to the stadium together.
