  1. Though I'm sure you notice immediately when cashing your paychecks, Westbrook is probably not a person who needs to wait for his to be deposited in order to buy whatever he wants. Consequentially, he may not be aware of how much he has in the bank, that is what financial advisors are for.
  2. I'd love Peterson. Trouble is, I dunno that Marv and Dick don't believe we will be ok with A-Train and a later draft pick at RB. If you go back and look at Marv's interviews after McGahee got traded he seemed to show a discomforting amount of confidence in A-Train's ability to play well and the need for just a little added support.

  4. I can't stand people who wat max value all the time. Tom Brady would have been a reach in the 3rd or 4th rd according to draft experts but I think if we had to do everything all over again he might warrant a 1st rounder just MAYBE. Bottom line, you take the guy you want when you have a pick. We took Whitner at 8 before and I thik we take whoever we want at the time we pick.
  5. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2836410 Released by the Broncos. I know he has injury concerns but it might be nice to sign him "on the cheap" in case he is able to return to form. At the very least he would be a decent backup.
  6. I usually think your ideas are idiotic but this one takes tha cake. Please proceed to lie down in the middle of an interstate highway.
  7. I wonder if your avatar gives us any clues as to why you would choose to rip on the guy.
  8. NEVER LET GO!! Anger is all that fuels us!
  9. I'm usually negative on this board but I have to agree. Wade made some bad decisions here but he seems to be a good person. I see this situation as a corrollary one to Jauron- did ok for a bit and then slid towards the end of his tenure at his old job. If we can root for Jauron we should not wish Wade ill. Hope he works out, I appreciate what he did in Buffalo.
  10. Fills is correct. The NFL is a choice. Players sign agreements to submit to the league's discipline. Due process does not come into play here period. I just studied this in sports law. I could give you a longwinded explanation but bottom line, no.
  11. Terrible thread. Agreed.
  12. I agree. Throw in next years 4th, conditional 3rd.
  13. Please, stop the drugs, seriously Crack is Wack
  14. Unfortunately I agree with you!!! Ok sue me but I think acquiring LB in the 1st is a priority. We could then take Bush/Pittman/Turner with our 2nd (Turner might require a 3rd this year or next year but who cares at this point). We fill our desperate needs at LB and RB in rds 1 and 2 and we can then focus on getting: a starting FB, a backup LB, a backup CB, a backup DT in rds 3-5. Forget what the experts think, I believe we can be contenders this year if we do this. We have glaring needs at RB and LB. Without addressing LB and RB in the first 2 rds we are in serious trouble. It doesnt matter IMO if we draft an OLB or ILB because Crowell can play either OLB or ILB effectively. If we were to trade with TEN I would hope for an extra 3rd rounder this year. Then, we could trade a 3rd rounder for Turner this year or use it to address our many other needs. I think Youboty is our guy at 2CB this year no matter what happens. He wasn't brought in to be another Tim Anderson, he will be expected to start.
  15. I absolutely HATE Mortensen. The On The Clock segment was absolutely terrible. It's almost like these guys just look down transaction lists to see people they recognize. We got rid of everone or a reason: McGahee- Terrible attitude, overrated, overhyped Spikes- ACL anyone? He's on the wrong side of 30 Fletcher-Chases runners down instead of attacking them at the line, old Clements-80 million reasons Also to Kelly and vet. The guys on that segment were talking about MONEY in the segment. Complaining that the Bills don't resign their young talent MUST take the amount they signed for into account. On a whole, the segment was amateur at best and boring. It didn't seem like they knew anything about the team. Although I would be happy if our first 2 rds wound up as Kiper predicted. I's be even happier if we used our 2nd to get a Turner.
  16. Seeing Walker on BB.com along with Leonard and Lynch I think we are being introduced to our 2 rb and I like it. He has great hands and elusiveness but better yet, he knows how to hit a hole. He fit perfectly in a system where the other back is a breuiser like A-Train
  17. Simply put, you have to look at the positions you need filled and look at the players available to see if they can step in and be impact players. After that you need to see the distance between the top player at that position and the next player in line. At this point there is a dropoff between AP and the next player. There is a dropoff between Willis and Timmons too bt we may not need an ILB. OLB is a position where there are several players who could play and there isn't a big dropoff between the top 2-3 OLBs. That being said. RB isn't a position were you need the best player in the world, it is enough to have 2-3 good RBs. We need 2 starting LBs in this draft. I say we drop down in the 1st, draft Pos in the 1st and Beason in the 2nd, then we can take Pittman or someone like him in the 3rd.
  18. I like looking through these and chuckling at the big girls who think theyre gonna make the team.
  19. 1- Alanis is nowhere near attractive 2- The video put me to sleep
  20. Yes because Coy Wire is the missing piece of the puzzle in Chicago
  21. AP is looking like a pipe dream. You need to wake up if you are thinking of him as a sure thing at 12. If we knew he was gona be there at 12 we wouldn't be trying to get Turner. While you're at it Calvin Johnson and Joe Thomas are both looking good too. Lets at least get a little realistic here.
  22. Yep 12 Mill under the cap. If we changed that ridiculous cash to cap philosophy we could get around that. I hate the fiscal policy we have currently.
