Was the Qb sneak even close?

Willis needs to learn to make on cut and head downfield. He keeps pirouetting around the fild and getting stopped for little or no gain trying to get the big run. At least A-Train just lowers his shoulders and levels people. I'm not saying A-Train is better, but he is better WITH THE LINE WE HAVE cause we can't get good run blocking. With a solid O-line Willis is a top 5 back. Without it, he is top 15 at best.

the only QB thats any good coming out this year is Quinn so taking a QB in the 1st isnt a good idea. We're losing Baker at year's end but will be getting McCargo back at Dt to help fill it out. We NEED help on the OL at OG and RT. Samardzija is playing AAA for the Cubs but wants to play football or both. He would be a huge upgrade over our 2Wrs. On the other hand I would LOVE Poslunski.

I'm pulling for Ko simply from the marketing standpoint. We would have the 1-2 knockout punch combination. You will have either been TKO'd or suffer a devastating KO. I like it

Ok this post actually got to me. I haven't been anywhere near supportive of Losman but I do have to admit he has been reported to be a really hard worker and really has shown committment to the community.

We keep him and Gates, Shaud is gone. I dunno why everyone is so negative all the time. I mean Gibson and Thomas could both wind up playing well again and becoming valuable parts of the team. Just because a player slumps doesn't mean they are over and done with. I like Shaud but he's too small.

Just a reminder for everyone (yes including me) that we DO have a 1st rd QB on the roster, Losman sucked last year, if he sucks this year he's out but dont expect him to tank just because he was bad last year. I personally don't think he's got "it" but I hope im wrong.

I have never hated Marv, I respect him too much for what he did before with the guys. Please believe I won't lose sleep over your jabs, your life is worth too little to me. I'm gonna second the question made above- does the Tampa Bay Cover 2 allow for a 3-4 scheme as well as a 4-3? From all the talks so far I have only heard coaches talk like we're running a 4-3. Why cut Posey, is there anyone else left to sign? I doubt we use the extra money to lock up Clements. I think with our new 3rd rd CB Youboty it's more likely than not that Nate will walk next season unless we turn into a good team overnight and he actually wants to be here.

After initially being pissed about the draft I am now convinced that we are on the right track and we did in fact do well this year. So I'm officially retracting my naysaying comments and putting my name on record as supporting the draft and Marv's offseason moves.
