Just a reminder for everyone (yes including me) that we DO have a 1st rd QB on the roster, Losman sucked last year, if he sucks this year he's out but dont expect him to tank just because he was bad last year. I personally don't think he's got "it" but I hope im wrong.

I'm gonna second the question made above- does the Tampa Bay Cover 2 allow for a 3-4 scheme as well as a 4-3? From all the talks so far I have only heard coaches talk like we're running a 4-3. Why cut Posey, is there anyone else left to sign? I doubt we use the extra money to lock up Clements. I think with our new 3rd rd CB Youboty it's more likely than not that Nate will walk next season unless we turn into a good team overnight and he actually wants to be here.

After initially being pissed about the draft I am now convinced that we are on the right track and we did in fact do well this year. So I'm officially retracting my naysaying comments and putting my name on record as supporting the draft and Marv's offseason moves. I'll tell you why I wouldn't lobby for McNair: he is a good qb on the downside of his career with injury problems. He might play wlel enough for us to win 7-8 games but we still wouldn't get to the playoffs. Then, next season when we DO need a QB probably addressed in the draft, we will have a crappy position in the draft (I'm not advocating playing to lose, but let's face it, we're a top 10 pick again next year) AND we will have ANOTHER QB controversy. "Should McNair hang it up? Who starts?" We also would have less of a chance at signing any possible good younger FA QBs cause they would shy away from Buffalo with McNair here. Just my opinion, I've been known to be wrong.

We aren't gonna be terrible this year in my estimation, just not good. ND's offense is gonna be good with Aldridge coming in and returning Quinn, Walker, Samarzidja and the return of McKnight. Brady Quinn will go top 5 but you're right, we don't know what's gonna happen so it's foolish to speculate.Personally I think Quinn would fit in well in Buffalo if only for the fact that hes played under a great QB coach and he performs very well in what I can attest to are terrible playing conditions here. When the weather is bad the stadium turns into a windtunnel, yet he stills plays at a high level and keeps his composure. I'd love to have my favorite QB playing for my favorite pro team, but I'd rather have Buffalo turn it around and surprise us all this year. Here's to the upcoming season! Stay positive.

I think people are forgetting that Jauron is first and foremost a defensive coach. Like Brandon said, he has an actual plan. I just think he has a bit of tunnel vision, concentrating on what he is most familiar with. I really wanted Bing, that's 2x in this draft the Raiders take the guy want
