  1. Wow, that's more slanted than a partisan pole? Would you rather vote for a: A- Noble and trustworthy Democrat B- Evil and war-hungry Republican C- Corrupt Republican D- Tom Donahoe, who drinks baby's blood I think the answer there is pretty obvious TD
  2. I gotta agree with Puny Noodle Weenie, running a search for 3rd string Qbs who have played recently is kinda tough
  3. The reason was because the Claussen family seems to produce monster HS prospects who absolutely suck in college. I submit ND's record and my escalating alcohol consumption last year as proof.
  4. Welcome to the board. I have no opinion anymore
  5. There's really no need to rip on JP personally, I agree. But too many of you guys get defensive about him when people say he's not a good QB, get over it, one does not equal the other. <-- not directed at Tipster
  6. Actually, I probably would fire someone for their attitude, but that's just me and I'm not ripping on you. The problem I have is only good players get away with being jerks. You get someone like what the heck was his name, receiver for the Eagles who stunk and talked ALL that smack and he just gets cut and never finds a job again, same for Cedrick Wilson (notice how it's mainly WRs who are prima donnas?). So I have no problem with people trashing jerk players, it's not like they care what we say about them and they still get paid.
  7. Ditto that, receiver stats are like Wins in baseball, you can only do the best with what you're given
  8. Thanks, but I wasn't being sarcastic at all, I didn't understand the post. I do appreciate you calling me out for something I didn't do though. You're a real class act
  9. DO NOT QUESTION THE CHROISE!!! Shhhh! Here he comes!
  10. Uh, you're leaving the board or did I read that wrong?
  11. He would be a fullback in the pros and could alternate as a 3rd down to spell Lynch and Jackson. I like him as a FB and he is a good blocker
  12. I always like the kid as a person, if he could only throw the ball TO a receiver and not behind or over them and actually get the ball there in time. then I would like him as a player
  13. I agree with the sentiment above. Don't be surprised if we take a S early. I wouldn't love the idea, but S is really important in cover 2 and chris brown keeps hinting about moving Donte to FS, so we might be looking at an early pick at SS
  14. I know they featured him on bb.com cause he's a local area product, but I liked him when I saw him play, not a bad FB.
  15. Most likely an OT? Gotta disagree with you there. We take any linemen in the 1st it will be on D
  16. Ours do! SB weather sucks! My point it kinda moot though cause so do our receievers
  17. Shockey dated Vida Guerra. I would trade a second for HER
  18. We had the same problem at Notre Dame. Believe it or not the weather is pretty comparable to Buffalo because of the ridiculous amount of lake effect snow. Now that kids go to school mainly as a springboard for the pros, less and less are willing to go to places like ND where the weather is terrible just for the academics. I mean, why go to South Bend or Buffalo when you can sign somewhere like Miami where the weather is nice if you're going to play for a middling team? The only thing that will really attract FAs to Buffalo is having a winning team. That's just my opinion of course.
  19. These draft experts hedge so much it's not even funny. If you read enough you will find "bust" concerns on just about every player estimated to be in the top 15, except for the 2 Longs. This really does appear to be a weak draft class. There are a few good D and O linemen, but the rest of the class is underwhelming
  20. 2007stats Completions/ATT-206 of 301 Yds Passing 2988 TDs 43 INTs 1 Rating- 198.30 I wouldn't take anyone with less than a 200 rating
  21. It's funny how Kelsay has neither great technique or physical skill and yet still gets $4M a year
  22. Canada has great strip clubs, maybe he will come to us!!!
  23. Ignorant question, but how often do teams really play in the 2 TE formation? I know Indy uses it quite a bit. Any idea?
