  1. I'd love the trade because it means they are at least 3 years removed from having a decent QB.
  2. Again, we are talking about HOLDMAN. I don't see him being the missing piece in anyone's puzzle.
  3. After we pick Pos I think we should trade our 2nd and a conditional 2-4 fnext year as described above. We could then get another LB in the 3rd and whatever other player the front office likes. We had a good draft last year and I have confidence that 3-7 rd picks can contribute to the team this year in a big way, especially with all the holes in our roster right now.
  4. I agree with the injury comment. We need to draft 2 RBs. I'm not getting too exciting about an NFL Europe standout. Where is Ken Simonton today? He lead NFL Europe in all purpose yards a few years back, didn't see him develop into the next big thing.
  5. We're more likely to draft a white "high motor" DE
  6. FYI ESPN rumor mill made it a point to say the Bills are looking to take Pos with 12. Marv already told us Angelo Crowell is out MLB so it makes perfect sense we look at Pos over Willis. I'd be happy with the pick.
  7. I agree that A-Train is perfectly capable of shouldering most of the burden, but i would prefer drafting a back that can develop into a feature back like Pittman in the 3rd.
  8. Thank you. The original post was actually quite bad and I appreciate that you managed to point out his flawed logic.
  9. i completely agree. If timmons fell that far I would hope we'd move up and take him. I tihnk WR at 2 is a luxury pick when we need 2 LB, 1-2 RB, 1 CB all before another WR. Right now Coy Wure is starting. Let me repeat-Coy Wire.
  10. Though I'm sure you notice immediately when cashing your paychecks, Westbrook is probably not a person who needs to wait for his to be deposited in order to buy whatever he wants. Consequentially, he may not be aware of how much he has in the bank, that is what financial advisors are for.
  11. I'd love Peterson. Trouble is, I dunno that Marv and Dick don't believe we will be ok with A-Train and a later draft pick at RB. If you go back and look at Marv's interviews after McGahee got traded he seemed to show a discomforting amount of confidence in A-Train's ability to play well and the need for just a little added support.

  13. I can't stand people who wat max value all the time. Tom Brady would have been a reach in the 3rd or 4th rd according to draft experts but I think if we had to do everything all over again he might warrant a 1st rounder just MAYBE. Bottom line, you take the guy you want when you have a pick. We took Whitner at 8 before and I thik we take whoever we want at the time we pick.
  14. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2836410 Released by the Broncos. I know he has injury concerns but it might be nice to sign him "on the cheap" in case he is able to return to form. At the very least he would be a decent backup.
  15. I usually think your ideas are idiotic but this one takes tha cake. Please proceed to lie down in the middle of an interstate highway.
  16. I wonder if your avatar gives us any clues as to why you would choose to rip on the guy.
  17. I'm usually negative on this board but I have to agree. Wade made some bad decisions here but he seems to be a good person. I see this situation as a corrollary one to Jauron- did ok for a bit and then slid towards the end of his tenure at his old job. If we can root for Jauron we should not wish Wade ill. Hope he works out, I appreciate what he did in Buffalo.
  18. Fills is correct. The NFL is a choice. Players sign agreements to submit to the league's discipline. Due process does not come into play here period. I just studied this in sports law. I could give you a longwinded explanation but bottom line, no.
