He would be a fullback in the pros and could alternate as a 3rd down to spell Lynch and Jackson. I like him as a FB and he is a good blocker

I always like the kid as a person, if he could only throw the ball TO a receiver and not behind or over them and actually get the ball there in time. then I would like him as a player

I agree with the sentiment above. Don't be surprised if we take a S early. I wouldn't love the idea, but S is really important in cover 2 and chris brown keeps hinting about moving Donte to FS, so we might be looking at an early pick at SS

We had the same problem at Notre Dame. Believe it or not the weather is pretty comparable to Buffalo because of the ridiculous amount of lake effect snow. Now that kids go to school mainly as a springboard for the pros, less and less are willing to go to places like ND where the weather is terrible just for the academics. I mean, why go to South Bend or Buffalo when you can sign somewhere like Miami where the weather is nice if you're going to play for a middling team? The only thing that will really attract FAs to Buffalo is having a winning team. That's just my opinion of course.

These draft experts hedge so much it's not even funny. If you read enough you will find "bust" concerns on just about every player estimated to be in the top 15, except for the 2 Longs. This really does appear to be a weak draft class. There are a few good D and O linemen, but the rest of the class is underwhelming

You should think before you randomly spew out stats. Jimmy Claussen was the worst QB in the history of life last year, not to mention that Weis was piss poor at everything. You want a better indication of his talent look at 07 where he gained 634 yards, averaging 13.5/catch, 4 TDs and a LONG of 62yds. On top of that you have to consider that in '07- Brady was lobbing long TD passes to Samardzija and McKnight. Sammy was a beast at catching jump balls and he got most of those calls. When you play in an offense that was as high gear as that one you make the plays when your number is called. Since I actually went to every home game that season and watched every minute of the away games, I think I probably have a better idea about the guy's talent level than you do. And if you would take a minute to look at how I post you would see that I don't just randomly praise all ND players. Limus Sweed is a WR, so how exactly are you grouping him with TE's?

Zbi is a one trick pony. He is a freak athletically but terrible in coverage. If we drafted him then we could move Donte to FS since he IS good in coverage, but I see this as a remote possibility and I like Simpson anyway
