  1. Agreed. Cause I actually think this raises a valid point that hasn't really been explored on this board. I think technically by drafting a "big" receiver at TE we could still draft a smaller, quicker wideout like Marshawn's teammate Deshaun Jackson and could still do really well with 2 shorter receivers. Jackson/Carlson could run the fades in the redzone and we would have two burners on the outside.
  2. On the plus side, our Melvin Fowler will offset the quickness of the offense a bit by being slow to block and allow people to rush easily up the middle, so things won't change TOO much
  3. <----- running from thread to thread to avoid her wrath
  4. Shhhh! No April Fools comments! Lori is coming to ban you and she is pissed!
  5. I have read from several reputable sources, no link available, that Trent derives his QB'ing skill from his facial hair, much in the same vein as the Biblical character Samson drew his incredible strength from his hair. Now that Trent has shaved we definitely need to keep JP, whose scruffiness could save us all. Opinions?
  6. Exactly. He thought people around the league would be all over him, trying to trade and so far nothing. The one good thing in all of this that he might realize he is destined to be a backup and just stay here, where he is definitely a positive influence in the community, he knows the system and could possibly make an impact should he be called on to start.
  7. He is who we THOUGHT he was. He is who we THOUGHT he was!
  8. LOL at the Westinghouse Dean feud. For some reason when they fight it seems as menacing as the Jets and the Sharks snap-walking at each other
  9. I was watching the Office, the episode where Dwight offers to form an alliance with Jim, for no reason whatsoever. Then reading on this board it dawned on me that people here have basically done the same thing, chosen sides and attempted to run off people with differing opinions. What alliance do you fall under? I'm putting myself down as a supporter of the Chroise as well as DJ
  10. Gibran Hamdan, just so he can be known as a 1st rd QB
  11. I find your screename contradicts most of your posts
  12. No to drugs- I wouldn't be happy if they drafted drugs
  13. Westinghouse, your products are subpar at best
  14. I will ask you not to attack "Handsome Dick." Future offenses will be punished by a visit from the Chroise
  15. I would be pretty nervous about him coming to Buffalo because of his attitude. That being said, CJ could follow me around town punching me in the face and I would forgive him and put up with all his junk if he got us to a championship. Winning trumps character in this country
  16. Flutie's magic, derived from his pot of gold, was stolen by Rob Johnson, who used it on hair care products and "girls rule" cutoff t-shirts Also, I should note that I started this not as a TE rules thread but, as correctly identified above, to make fun of the rift on the board. I support whoever is playing
  17. The poll is loaded because you go out of your way to list the ranking of the WR and do not do so for DE. When you list "11th" pick and then show "27th" best player it seems pretty illogical to take the WR. Look at individual players, or else we are left with reviews based on expert's "opinions" like this one from 2000: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/inside_ga...4/16/king_mmqb/ Some highlights: Buffalo. Pick 89 overall, Corey Moore, will be one of those classic Bills picks (they always get a very good player after the first round, every year), the kind of player GMs will regret passing on. 8. New England. J.R. Redmond will be the every-down back by Oct. 1. Not bad for the 76th overall pick. I should note there was no praise for the Pats taking possibly the best QB in NFL history in the 6TH rd Or in the same year, look at these draft rankings: http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/archive/2...nkings.html#olb QB Tom Brady- 10
  18. Sir Gibran asks that you please revise your spelling, it reflects poorly on the Chroise. So it has been commanded, so it shall be done.
  19. I object to this thread purely on the basis that I do not like how it is worded. I would have preferred Trading Johnson Johnson Trade Johnson Trade Talk but Trade OF Johnson? It sounds like you're an exchange student from Sweden "Have you heard of the talking of people about the trade of Johnson?"
  20. Wow, that's more slanted than a partisan pole? Would you rather vote for a: A- Noble and trustworthy Democrat B- Evil and war-hungry Republican C- Corrupt Republican D- Tom Donahoe, who drinks baby's blood I think the answer there is pretty obvious TD
  21. I gotta agree with Puny Noodle Weenie, running a search for 3rd string Qbs who have played recently is kinda tough
  22. The reason was because the Claussen family seems to produce monster HS prospects who absolutely suck in college. I submit ND's record and my escalating alcohol consumption last year as proof.
