  1. I guarantee: at least 1 win at least 1 loss everything else is out of my hands
  2. Kelsay is entrenched at his position. Jauron has given him a "leadership position" locker in the center of the locker room and obviously thinks he is starting material, we will not go DE in rd 1
  3. per kffl Bills | Hamdan Set to Shock the World Wed, 19 Mar 2008 09:15:36 -0700 Chris Brown, of buffalobills.com, reports Gibran Hamdan is ready to take real strides this season. Brown reports the team is considering starting "Chroise" as dubbed by fans on a popular website, to starting QB, relegating the highly touted Trent Edwards to a backup role. Coach Dick Jauron cites Hamdan's irresistable charm and natural olive complexion as the main reason for this decision, noting that as a football move, the switch makes no sense.
  4. I like exactly 1 of your picks. Other than that, I admire your typing skills.
  5. His mother is godmother to someone's kid, making that kid Marshawn's godbrother. It's mainly a Catholic thing: "If I die, X will take care of my kids."
  6. Wikipedia is REALLY fast http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Peterson
  7. When you think about it, there are essentially only 5 different threads on here that recycle under different names anyway: 1- Why do we suck (assigning blame to the FO and HC)? 2- When are we gonna be good again? 3- I like to play GM, let's sign (ridiculous trade idea or FA signing) 4- A saw a famous person today (that makes me cool by association). 5- How long til our misery as fans is exceeded only by our misery as ex-fans when the team moves to Toronto. I have saved you $200 and recovered 90% of all posts with this response. You are all welcome.
  8. McGee and Greer are the best tandem at what exactly? Cause it's not at playing football.
  9. I think people would be willing to kick in if you do decide to go for the data recovery. I myself have no opinion either way. I do want to say thanks for everything you do and have done to make this place what it is. Thanks.
  10. What if McFadden is there and we trade our 1 and 4 for their 2 1s? Would that work out according to the value chart?
  11. I would request that you heed your own advice. Get out
  12. I do agree with the post about forcing us to take a WR...to a point. I don't really think the FO will hesitate to take a CB in the 1st and grab our 2WR in the 2nd or 3rd if it really came down to it. What I DID like about the Bryant Johnson move is they obviously didn't cave and give tons of money to an untested player. As far as reaches go in the draft, I think the term is stupid. No players go in to the draft with a guaranteed pro effectiveness rating, we basically valuate them like art, they are worth what people are willing to pay them. Mandarich and Leaf were not "reaches" when they were taken, but because they were overvalued and didn't produce we feel the need to justify the pre-draft ranking system and call them "busts." Using the criteria everyone espouses as far as how far down you could move and still get a player, Tom Brady would have been a HUGE reach even as a 4th rd pick, when obviously his value turned out to be greater than any other players. Bottom line, take who you want on your team when it's your turn.
  13. The atmosphere in my living room was also terrible, what with me severely spraining my wrist against the wall, spilling a table full of booze in the process
  14. If anyone has a magic wand I'm willing to bet it's Hamdan. We should see if he will loan it to the front office for the draft.
  15. Come on Avenger, when you say "the 10 year old kid in front of me," you really mean you don't you? Let it out buddy, it's ok to cry, you're in a safe place.
  16. Plus with the win we wouldn't have people telling us to trade down!
  17. I agree completely. It is a little sad to see people get so worked up about a player we don't even have and then be devastated when we don't take him (See: Broderick Bunkley, Winston Justice).
  18. Only if he is related to Art Monk. In that case, trade up for him and grab him at 2
  19. I see your point. One caveat about your theory, it assumes there is really only 1 player the team is targetting. If we have several WRs with similar grades then it makes a lot of sense to trade down because you can just look at a team's roster and see if they need WRs. Let's say we have 3 Wrs with similar grades and only 2 teams in the next 10 picks look like they might take a receiver: trade down 8-10 picks, pick up another pick and get one of your 3 guys. If however they are really only interested in 1 WR then I have no problem with them staying put, even if he is considered a "reach."
  20. I get a little antsy that we haven't picked up a WR, TE or CB. Then I realize there really weren't any signable players at our needs positions, we landed some good ones and we passed on overspending. What do you guys think?
  21. Ditto, I thought he had potential, but he wanted a paycheck more than chance to prove himself I suppose
  22. So let me get this straight...his nagging injury is a GOOD thing?
  23. how bout a hug? a lot of animosity for such an innocuous comment
  24. At least Spitzer got "to know" an aspiring singer. What did SDS get out of it?!
