  1. I'll tell you why you get a hard time on here and I say this not as a shot at you, but in the hope you can see why people on this board tend to have negative reactions towards you. You offer, without fail, the most consistently negative take on every single situation around. If there were a post about a basket full of puppies at the front desk of OBD, you're the type to cite how irresponsible it is to expose everyone in the building to possible rabies. There are plenty of posters here who have negative views on some things and positive views on others, it's called being a balanced poster. You are consistently negative and argue with anyone who disagrees with you to the point that it takes threads over. I would suggest that if you don't like how people are reacting to you, change your reaction to them by not immediately getting into arguments, or, try and be more balanced when you post. That said, I understand there may be times when you say non-negative things around here and you feel like you're getting singled out, but once you get a reputation, it follows you around and it's hard to shake.
  2. I agree with the second half. Tim is a pretty decent writer, unfortunately he seems to adore being a troll (just look at literally any day on his twitter); which is weird, because he stopped posting on this board because people were trolling him.
  3. It's a self-serving way to view the draft. If you view someone as a rd 1 pick and he goes in the 3rd, then his value was that of a 3rd round pick and your analysis was wrong, you don't give the team who drafted that guy a high score because they agreed with you.
  4. Now I'm worried. I understand you can't elaborate often, but it's a little uncool to do a drive-by, drop a fact with no context and then just disappear.
  5. This segment actually gave me heartburn. Baldinger has no business being on tv. He leans back and radiates apathy as the people around him openly question why he doesn't give the bills an A simply on the basis that they "didn't draft anybody to stop Gronk"
  6. Another thread that reinforces my contention that there should be a minimum post count before you can start your own topic
  7. I like Woods a lot. If he's healthy this season he's going to play himself into a nice payday. I'd really like to keep him
  8. WHY HAS HE NOT SIGNED YET?!!!!! Whaley is asleep!
  9. Correct. In fact, it sounds like you're not a "watched every game" kind of guy either, or else you would have noted a marked improvement in our defense over the last quarter of the year. This is not a left handed compliment, it is a challenge. We can tell it is a challenge because Rex he straight up calls it one. If you don't like Rex, fine, don't like Rex. But trying to "back up" your position with non-facts and fairly blatant misinterpretations of quotes just makes your arguments consistently weak.
  10. Watched that Confidential video fading posted, great find.
  11. Buscaglia's article says he was rated one of the top 10 guards in the league by PFF. Sign the man now. He looks like an extra from Sons of Anarchy
  12. We could always move him to a safety/lb position like we did with Jim Leonhard
  13. So happy this got done. You guys think we manage to extend Gilmore before the season starts?
  14. Awesome thanks. Finding cool stuff like this is why I come to this board. Appreciate it
  15. I don't understand how the discussion continued after this post. Rhino - 100 ScottLaw & BADO - 0 Game over
  16. 3-4 Lawson - Ragland - Brown - Hughes Williams - Bryant - Dareus 5-2 Ragland - Brown Lawson - Williams - Dareus - Washington - Hughes
  17. I think the tables may have helped, because the text in the opening post definitely needed a graph in order to understand
  18. I think it's a little strange that you'd be surprised that you're getting flack. If you make sarcastic comments about why the pick was made then you open yourself up to similarly non-logic-based criticism. If you have made the argument you made above at the beginning of the post I doubt people would be so annoyed.
  19. So basically you're upset because our GM didn't do what you wanted them to? You wanted to try and have a team that races the other team to 50 without the players to stop them from scoring?
  20. I came away from the WGR interview pleasantly surprised at how much I liked Cardale. Prior to this the only off the field stuff I knew about him was that weird thing where some porn actress was trying to get him to transfer to FSU and I'll admit it gave me a negative impression of him without looking into it very much. I was pretty wrong about that, he seems like a good kid with a solid head on his shoulders, easy to root for him.
  21. Agreed, he may not have great straight line speed, but he looks like an instinctive playmaker
  22. Isn't he an avowed Jets fan? Maybe I'm misremembering something I read once
  23. Nah, that would have been a rip off trade
